The Soundtrack of your life If your life were a movie, what songs would be on the soundtrack?
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 3, 2018:
Road trip loving person so most an travel or car song. Moons rising over open fields....and bioluminescence fish and the five toed cats watching them in the Keys and the smell of lilacs in full bloom and that first strangled note at a symphony as they all start to tune their instruments at a stumbled upon concert in a city park. Is there a song about pie?
Well, I had an interesting Sunday.
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 2, 2018:
That was an unreasonable request. Akin to a vegan demanding that no one else at a group restaurant meal eat meat. Now, if she stays in the group and hosting is rotated it would be perfectly reasonable for her to ask that no one consumes alcohol or pork or shellfish in her home.

Why is it difficult to find true love??
BufftonBeotch comments on Apr 2, 2018:
The closest may be with first love. I think many people find it hard to put their full heart into it after that heartbreak. Harder even than that is seeing your child's heart broken like that. You almost want to snap the little dung bag in half. Then you remember they're only 16 too.
What obsolete things did your mom try to teach you?

Why Ohio??
BufftonBeotch comments on Mar 31, 2018:
I spent much of my childhood plotting my escape from Ohio. And I lived in maybe the 5% of the state that was aesthetically pleasing in the Appalacian foothills. Racism and ignorance as ugly as projectile leprosy.

Did anyone watch the season premier of Roseanne last night?

Have you ever carpooled with a co-worker? Share your experience.
BufftonBeotch comments on Mar 25, 2018:
I would almost rather gouge out my own eyes than be reliant on someone else to get to work. One time I did ask was when I was still riding a bike. I go to work very early so it was full dark. It was also a terrible thunderstorm. That day I called a co-worker who worked the same shift who was practically going right by if she would pick me up. "No. I can't. Thunderstorms scare me too much. I want to get to work as fast as I can." So I had to ride a bike in it. Seriously. Fuck asking anyone for help.

Ending a marriage. Just economically bad, he could not keep a job. I came in with good credit his was awful. He was awful. I had to bail him out of jail about 3 times. He ran cars after check engine light would go on and literally junked about 10 cars in the 8 we were together. At the end he was wanting me to work 60-80 hours a week so he could...go back to school. Oh and cover him on my health insurance. Enough. I went on Craig one evening and found a room for rent within a little over mile from work. I already had a bike. I moved out within about a week. I biked to work for about 3 years before my credit recovered to the point that it was good again and I went to the Toyota dealership and got my sweet little 5-Speed.

A joke for believers.
BufftonBeotch comments on Mar 25, 2018:
Agree with the others that the characters need to be reversed. It is really not believable that an atheist would attempt to proselytize to someone, especially a little kid. A "born-again"on the other hand? Being alone with an unaccompanied child would be irresistible low hanging fruit.

For Douglas Adams fans. The answer to life, the universe, and everything.
BufftonBeotch comments on Mar 24, 2018:
I am a big fan of the Adams series, though it has been awhile since I visited. Stanley Kubrik's "The Shining" also references the number 42 very slyly numerous times. The documentary "Room 237" explores that, and other "hidden in plain sight" things in that movie. "asterisks" heh
This made me laugh.
