Were you a "late-bloomer"?
Buttercup comments on Apr 22, 2019:
About average, I think we all mature at different rates at different things and we can have growth spurts. I learned a whole lot about sex in a short time after I got together with my first serious girlfriend. Like wise, I had to learn elementary finance pretty quickly once I was on my own. I have definitely seen many people rise to the occasion, I was a late parent but that's something else some people have to take up young.

I tend to agree but woo peddlers have the same options available to us all, formulate a hypothesis and design experiments that can confirm their predictions. Personally I don't believe in free will so natural events would determine consciousness, not the reverse. So like phlogiston, the divine spark of life, and the immortal soul, there is no vital principle of consciousness. Once again we'll be finding that the cosmos does not revolve around us.

Everyone hates being criticized so keep the feed back as positive as possible. "Keep going" and "I like that" and when you want less of something, frame it as a physical sensation, not technique. "That hurts/tickles" "Slower/faster". Make it about what you want not him, men are pretty good and comfortable with step by step processes. ( and many would be overjoyed to have to have the skill set to get you off) Much less good when they feel you have a low opinion of them.
Has anyone experienced a big family secret after family members have died?
Buttercup comments on Apr 17, 2019:
Maybe a future one for someone else. I have a daughter from a casual encounter, she kept it from me and I only found out through an amazing stroke of chance. She married a person who she represented to me as a platonic roommate and raised the daughter with his name. I have no way of knowing what either the girl or the husband were told. So far only my Y is on record which wouldn't be trackable through a female offspring.
Has anyone experienced a big family secret after family members have died?
Buttercup comments on Apr 17, 2019:
My maternal grandfather was a suicide and a Catholic so it was hushed up. I outed him to almost all of my generation and the one after. It was really more force of habit to our elders than much of a scandal to them. That side of the family was far from devout and considered being in a church a social obligation not a serious ideology
Building a Dyson sphere seems like it would be impractical.
Buttercup comments on Apr 17, 2019:
Agreed. A loosely aggregated orbital ring of habitats wouldn't require technology much in advance or our own and would increase living space immensely. The next jump to generation ships is also foreseeable. Dyson spheres are revolutionary and progress(?!) is evolutionary. It seems inevitable that the investment would always exceed the return.

Carbon energy as a solution to energy and carbon emissions. What do you think? [cbc.ca]
Buttercup comments on Mar 29, 2019:
Turning co2 back into gasoline has to use more energy than it produces, this is a storage system like a battery or hydrogen fuel cells. I don't think gasoline is the fuel of the future, we need better transportation than our current cars. In the short term could help but it would also take a huge capital investment, these plants would be replacing oil refineries so would have to be as large and ubiquitous.

A few thousand of these would could cover the entire Milky Way in a million years but would still be spread pretty thin. We've only been transmitting for a few years but were now easy to find. Buttercup comments on Mar 17, 2019:
Hey Chuck, You're never going to win a religious argument with reason. Time is infinite because "something" had to have existed before the big bang and they accept this as a matter of faith The only evidence they are willing to accept is that you prove that "nothing" exists and they are blind to the logical paradox of their own position.
Is being someone's fetish love?
Buttercup comments on Mar 17, 2019:
Is my love better than your love a productive comparison? Contemporary thinking says loving someone because they're are honest and kind is "true love" and I agree for myself, but what about a person who doesn't care but values other qualities like physical beauty(and further considers obesity beautiful) Unless they are harming others, love is how they see it and not my call.

Is Time A Concept Or A Thing?
Buttercup comments on Mar 15, 2019:
Way too much to unpack in a blurb, but I have a couple of things to consider. Is the time question the quantum uncertainty version of "If a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound?" Does the underlying phenomena exist independently, vibrations in air exist whether you hear them or not, clearly yes. Limiting the question to yes or no is a false dichotomy. Concrete versus abstract is similarly limited every idea in somewhere encoded in matter and/or energy,a neuron or computer chip, a book or something inconceivable to me. In our universe empty space doesn't exist, it has background microwave radiation and gravitrons (which opens a new can of worms, does space exists without gravitrons to define it). It's widely believed that if you could make nothing "exist"quantum particles would instantly spring into existence which confirms that time originated then(!?). Humans may abhor a paradox but nature clearly doesn't. If there is no god where did this come from leads nowhere because then you have to ask where did god come from. What existed before existence is the same fruitless loop of logic.

He wouldn't even come out into the area he was supervising because he didn't like getting dirty. We spent a couple of weeks moving inventory from it's designated area to random spots, we knew where everything was and continued to fulfill orders but the filing system charts had become completely wrong and useless. We all quit without notice, the whole place had to shut down because even after they found new forklift drivers EVERY time he told them where something was, he was wrong. He was fired after a couple of days. Bonus facts, since no management ever came into our area we brought whole kegs of beer to work. The top guy, his superior was named Royal Bliss.

Taping really helped me, watch a few different videos to learn different methods and learn enough anatomy and the mechanics of your arches to do it right, you have to tension the tape so it mimics the natural spring and support of your arches. Taping is useless unless done correctly, it's a spring not a bandage that should limit the range of motion and the amount of force absorbed by the arch. When you stand on it it should be very apparent that the tape is resisting the compression.

Not so simple but no, Jesus is the Latinized version of the Greek Yesu which is the Greek version of the Hebrew Joshua , the Christians use this convention so as not to confuse him with other Joshuas. Not me but interesting. I was in high school study hall, it was a hot sultry day when everyone was sleepwalking. I was lazily trying to focus on a book I was reading. At the front of the class was the teacher, she was twenty something and really attractive. Not in a showgirl way, pretty but plain, whipsmart and compactly athletic. She was squirming and rocking in her chair, rubbing one out in front of the class. It was pretty obvious from her changing posture when she was building the tension and when she orgasmed the wave of pleasure. I just sat by helplessly turned on, I wouldn't out her and for reasons of anatomy and desk design I couldn't have been nearly as discreet if I tried it myself .
