You're not defective, you are human. Just because you agreed to meet him doesn't mean that you have to actually meet him. You yourself said you know how it's going to end. Call him back and say you've changed your mind and that you are worth more than just a piece of meat. I may be difficult at first, but it will get easier over time. @Livia gave some excellent advice, I really hope you take it and focus on yourself. Forget him, he's not worth the heartache and disappointment. You are worth more than that.

I graduated from Wester Michigan University in Aviation Science and Administration. I have fueled a DC-9, CRJ200, CRJ700, ERJ145, RJ-85, and a Saab 340. I have towed/pushed back a Saab 340, DC-9, and a CRJ200. Those were good times.

In my opinion, they feel that there is a war on Christmas because the facts are overwhelmingly mounting against them and, deep down, they know your right. They can sense their crutch being taken away. They realize that it is only them and no God, or son of said God, there beside them and they cannot function without that thought. It's too engrained into their life to live without and that terrifies them.

I wouldn't think it would be impossible. Heck, there are people in relationships that have differing political views. You can disagree with someone's beliefs and still have a wonderful relationship. Your in the relationship with the person, not their views. There are other things to connect with besides religious and political views.

What is the ONE thing that makes you the happiest?

The one thing that makes me the happiest is making others laugh. I really enjoy making people laugh. If I didn't have an overwhelming sense of stage freight, I would have gone into comedy. The one thing that I wish I had in my life was a satisfying sense of stability. You never know when something is going to come along and have your world come crashing down. So far it's happened twice. Hopefully that's it.

What's the last book you read that you really enjoyed? I just finished "Dear Hamilton", loved it.

I would say it was "Pompeii" by Robert Harris. I had to read it for a class and could not put it down. I've read it two more times and still cannot put it down. I think it would have made a better movie for Pompeii than the movie was.

I would probably change where I went for high school. Sometimes I think I would have done better and did more things if I went to public school instead of catholic school. I'd have more experience at relationships since it was an all boys school. I still would have gone to college for Aviation, but would I have done better? Would I have done the things that I have done? I guess I'll never know, but those 4 years working the line at the Kalamazoo airport were the best 4 years of my life. As strange as it may be, I love the smell of jet fuel in the morning, the exhaust is heavenly, and a turbofan engine at takeoff is the best sound in the world.
