I don't believe male circumcision is something moms support more than dads. In my personal experience (which is just that, but I've worked with moms & babies for 15 years) it's usually the dad insisting & the mom trying to protect her baby boy, or it appears to have been a mutual decision.

AlPastor comments on Aug 8, 2018:
I'm opposed to both, but FGM is orders of magnitude more invasive and barbaric than MGM. To say they are no different is similar to saying losing your fingertip of a pinky is no different than having your entire hand chopped off.

@AlPastor & that is the least extreme form of FGM...

Fact : I am 67. Fact: Being circumcised as a very young baby has never caused me any issues and I do not have ED even though I am getting up there in age. Fact: FGM is a whole different thing and is really wrong. It is males attempting to extend their authority over women in a barbaric manner. ...
Carin replies on Aug 16, 2018:
Fatality rates are much higher for FGM, especially if you include deaths from obstructed childbirth years later. Permanent disability is common & sexual dysfunction a given. But just because it's not as brutal or deadly doesn't make MGM OK.

Over 100 infants on the US die from circumcision each year. My husband is intact and I wish I was too. The skin of the glans is no much more soft and sensitive. It’s more functional. You don’t need lubricant for masturbation. To me it’s more aesthetically pleasing. I would feel less exposed if...

I'm 5'10" and stick with flats. But mostly because I only wear things that are comfortable. My ex was 6'4". If they make comfy heels I'll wear them. But also I've seen some ugly women's feet because they wear stupid shoes that deform their feet. Why wear sexy shoes if they give you unsexy feet?
Carin replies on Aug 15, 2018:
@Hihi I read somewhere that a surprising number of women wear too small shoes. American style foot binding I guess.
Remember this the next time they tug at your heartstrings.
