You should be reasonably emotionally developed, have "found" yourself and be content with who you are. Hopefully, like me, you see yourself as a work in process. Likewise, you have been around long enough to recognize and appreciate the deeper qualities in a person.

For my part, I am a stable, unconventional, competent, drama free man who has taken life's winding & self guided path, finding meaning and happiness along the way. I am self made, self sufficient, non-beaocratized and a lot of fun.

My hobbies, interests & talents are diverse. Pets, Photography, Relationships, Sensuality, Massage, Art, Home Renovations, Small Business, Festivals, Dancing, Music, Fire Spinning & Flow Arts, the Environment, History, Sociology, Humanity, Permaculture & occasional Kink.

I am not into televised sports, chain restaurants, clothing labels or most other trappings of mainstream culture.

I do live in a lovingly renovated, historic, 160 year old home, often with other interesting people and also bring people together in other arenas such as “Burning Man" regional events or other “Alternative” communities.

My diet is mostly home cooked foods & rarely comes out of a box. I try to avoid high fructose like the plague that it is, preferring to eat healthy, real, home cooked food over "food product."

I am in reasonably good physical shape & very young at heart, a strong male, with an active life style, who often socializes with people half my age. People often tell me they thought I was much younger.

I am communicative, nurturing, honest and loyal to my friends. I do not tolerate, people who lie, steal or who are otherwise narcissistic, and am respectful of others, understand boundaries, both following and setting them. Integrity, communication, honesty & mutual consent are guiding principals.

Finally , I am emotionally available and able to build wonderful friendships, share mutual interests and even, sometimes, amazing physicality. That is to say, though am able but not emotionally needy.

What kind of people appeal to me? Intelligent, Honest, Self Knowing, Ethical, Communicative, Self Reliant & Confident, Sensual, Capable of being mutually/emotionally supportive, Happy, Outside-the-box thinkers & doers.

Age is not a huge factor. I appreciate the beauty of mature, self accepting people who have lived a full life, as well as the curiosity, beauty & optimism of youth, and relate to each, well. Likewise, I am not really stuck on race or body type and am usually much more attracted or repelled by what is between the ears.

Regarding Friendship; Although my ideal situation is to, eventually "partner" again, I am also happy to just share mutually enjoyable activities, such as cooking a good meal together or sharing some other mutual interest. You know, as friends often do.

On the rare occasion I share some form of physical intimacy, I can guarantee you, it is mutually consensual.
