Well, I am a non-believer. I was raised to be Baptist since I was 8 years old. I went to church regularly, vacation bible school and church camps. I enjoyed religion as a child because I always wanted to believe in a higher power, someone or something that was watching over myself and those I care about.

Fast forward about 17 years. I was a trained military intelligence analyst, hard-wired to exercise critical thinking techniques at every turn. I began disecting the enemy (like we are supposed to), which led to asking questions about social norms, which zoomed out to religion. My focus shifted from what I was trained to do, to my own life and the influential aspects of it.
