In theater school I learned how important it is to accept compliments graciously. In live performance it's very difficult to have that "stellar" performance over the course of a 2 to 3 hour show. On any given night what seems to be a horrible performance to me will inevitably be seen by someone as brilliant. I am of the opinion that it is that persons right to thank you if they wish or to give you critical "notes" if they wish. For some people it is an absolute must to meet and speak with the performers after the show. Whether in the lobby of the theater or the alley out back of the stage door.. if I have made myself available that person always gets my gracious acceptance of their experience at the show. Accepting praise and thanking that person who is standing there with shining eyes of adoration for my work or talent.. even when I thought my performance had been substandard.. was the last "act" of the night.

Yeah.. I would say about 600. An area 30'x20'. For a single person.. a bit bigger for a couple. 100 sq/ft is a big bathroom.. 200 sq/ft is a decent bedroom.. the other 300 sq/ft combination kitchen/ common living. Shift and adjust the design sq/ft numbers as needed. :)

When my father passed away 4 summers ago things happened very quickly. We went from hospital to funeral to material divestment in 3 weeks. My 2 sisters and I stormed through the house in 3 days. We did the usual sorting and dividing but in the end there was still an overstuffed 40 yard roll off dumpster bin heading to the landfill. Even though we all have our momentos and trophies from his life.. My eldest sister has major regrets over how quickly we dealt with his “stuff”. As they grow and strive to be independent of me I must take steps to be somewhat independent of them. I don't want to have time to look around my empty nest.
