This works for me almost 100 percent. Before I retired from O'Reilly Auto Parts I was developing way too much anxiety. That seems to have let up now and I have come to realize that most of it was because I want to be at home without having to leave the house. I've lived here 20 years and my introverted self is constantly doing projects and watching full series TV programs. I'm also a self made computer nerd and never bored for lack of things to do. I might install another operating system for myself or friends and relatives. My extroverted self is happy to go to town twice a week, and I do this all on my terms.

...I'm not sure I can handle this truth?

I enjoy these posts because we need to fight back and reading them may help us know how. My firm belief on any bill that you get for dead relatives is that the collector is simply out of luck. You are not responsible for their bills but collection will swear you are and they are trying to get laws passed saying this. At one place I worked a woman there was being harassed to pay her dead mother's bills as they claimed she was "head of her mother's estate." I talked to her for a while and the next time they called she told them "what estate do you mean - she lived in a mobile home and was on Social Security." The hapless collection agency never called her again. Yes dear. They will try and trick you.

Yes, we know it's crazy. I recently got a phone call from my pharmacist who wanted to know if I still take Metformin. This is most likely coz she saw that my doctor's nurse had wanted to update my medicine and called me in something that would cost $142 a month. I came unglued and told everyone that I am in control of my medication. I am in no way in the control of a doctor and I discuss things before taking them. No way in hell would I ever pay $142 per month for something. Updating my medication in my opinion translates into "let's pay the developers of this newer medication."
