I never liked Roseanne Barr but I did really love her TV program. Once her mental illness got her booted because of a racist political tweet that was uncalled for I dropped the show quickly. At one point Barr claimed she had to do this because "she is a political activist." So am I sister, but I would like to know what Obama and Jarrett have to do with anything in Trumpian America? Neither of them currently hold any office. It only makes sense if you use Trump Think.

I ignore most holidays and events and this includes my own birthday. Halloween and Christmas have nothing for me. They might if children were around. I do go to the dinners for these events if invited. If not, it's just another day. We keep wanting to "weed out" Thanksgiving where the pilgrims would have starved if it wasn't for the Indians. Why is that? Imagine a birthday party where the young boy is about 4 and they keep telling him it is his birthday. He looks at the presents but cannot believe it. Why? It's because he knows this has happened before. Who are they fooling?

I agree with Maher but only in so much that social activism seems to be going in the wrong direction sometimes, and it needs to learn how to go in more than one direction at a time. Both of our major political parties are having problems from within and if the Dems do not get it together they will throw people toward the more than awful GOP. Americans are being convinced that they are not entitled to anything and the Trumpians are doing right by taking it all away. Maybe it's a new direction for trickle down economics. An alternate take on this is that a "non-white" woman talks about these camps as if it is like summer camp you would send your children to. She said the kids can do anything they want to and eat anything they want to almost at any time. It is all so nice that she would send her child to one of these places and not have any worries. I do this in my mind. I don't go to physical places where bad things happened but my mind recalls the past things of myself and others and I see the changes (if any) in myself and them. I remember the words used in the past event. Sometimes I see how stupid I was. Other times I see it in the others. I can also use this to see how growth has come about. I know a few people who seem not to show any growth at all, but most people do.
