I agree with you, Becca. I used to have few friends and lots of associates. Today the associates are becoming fewer. So is the friend list. I believe that once you go the atheist path this sort of thing will happen unless you have some sort of community to share things. For us this site may serve that way. For many others it keeps them in church attendance. It would be surprising to find that many in church haven't believed in several years, but it may be so. I would love to find secular community somewhere and it's the only thing I can recommend to battle the isolation.

Bad mailman. In my case when I lived in the Houston area I was in a small trailer park of 7 units. I noticed no mail for about 2 weeks and called the Post Office. This is like a series of "missed calls" on your phone that suddenly are not working numbers only minutes later. What's going on with the phones is somebody wanting your information. What goes on in Facebook and You Tube is that someone wants your money and your vote. **Yes, they will even lie to get it.** Tactics of "Russian meddling" were in place before the election and so much more so even now. Imagine someone spending millions to get your dollar and tell you how to vote. Imagine billionaire business interests running agencies to do this and you see behind the false information. Advertising has always been about people control but today we have stepped into 1984. The difference is that it came a bit late.

In my experience all my friends were married so it might have made me hurry to marry at 21 and the woman was 34 and had 4 kids. It worked for a couple of years. Still in the same family as the first one here, but this time around I end up with 2 daughters even though the relationship is not good. In 1974 I ran off with a woman who had 8 kids and ended up helping raise half of them. She was 18 years older than me and we got along fine. She died of a heart attack in 1984 but my 2 daughters from the earlier marriage had come to live with us. The youngest after I found myself alone again. In 2004 I went to Kenya at 58 to meet my future wife of the Luo tribe. She was 28 at the time and we were married 12 years. We spent over 10 years of this together. We remain friends today and we had no children together. I haven't seen her in 2 years but we both still live alone. Throw misguided religion in between all this and there are my loves and relationships. Young or older didn't matter to me. Three white women and one black. No big deal.

I agree. Trumpsters think it strange that women come out of the woodwork many years later. Is it strange also that all the choir boys and alter boys are now coming out? Did those boys "spread their legs" in high school or wear clothes that made them appear as "asking for it?" It would be nice if it concludes after mid terms and the Dems have more power or a true balance of power. Also be aware that Trump is once again saying he will fire Mueller and they say he will do that right after the mid terms. Trumpty has to see what kinda clout the Dems have, and if they have none then "goodbye, Mueller." It doesn't matter that Mueller is a Republican. Trumpty Dumpty and his closest supporters would like this. It's all another mistake by someone without enough intelligence to govern.

Adding to the strangeness I found on conservative talk radio today that one call in person wants to have Ms. Ford investigated to see if she has any George Soros money.
