I feel the same way. I think my daughters are coming around coz I talk so much and make it plain how Trump lies and how you can catch the lie and fact check. I bring up examples when I'm around them and I think they believe me now. Most Trumpsters think that he has to be on our side because he is "too rich" for it to be any other way. This thinking is a big mistake and Trump is not as rich as some people think.

Finally I found Jerry DeWitt talking on You Tube and I listened to him tell his story. The scales fell off my eyes. Jerry is indirectly responsible for my de-conversion even though we have never met. He was telling me my story it seemed. Logic and need for evidence took over from there. For the record, gods are imaginary and I am no more afraid of a god than I am of the Easter Bunny. There is no heaven and hell and I am not afraid of burning in the flames. When I die I am going to be cremated.

IDK but this does seem to be true. I've found it that way in my lifetime. Parents and certain others might want to consider that the couple makes this choice and some couples are like Jay Leno and his wife. Neither of them want children. Not that they do not like children. It's just that they are not going to personally have children. I love children and I'm good around them for a half hour or so. My mother used to always remind me that I used to be one. Don't get me wrong. I will defend a child's rights mostly because they are tiny people and are not able to do so. With many partners behind me I do have 2 daughters.

I will always remember it as such. Whatever it was, I won't be able to change that about you. It may happen that you learn from the experience and move forward yourself, and it may not. As far as anger goes, I might flare up very angry at something but I will come down off of that just as quickly as it was when the anger rose. One good clue was when god had to use incest to get us all here in the "beginning" and this idea was his "perfect plan." Move on now to Adam and Eve and ideas of the chicken or the egg. We do not know the exact conditions but the biblical Genesis is not needed. It also could never be looked at as true, and if it was not true then there is no Yahweh god or Jehovah god who created everything. What is simply is, and the god who has always existed could likely be the never ending universe itself. I've kicked this around a while and it is my take on things. Is there evidence and does it tell us anything? Not really, but there will always be many things that we do not know.

I really doubt that it will happen. Religion is an "authority figure" for most of us and people claim they really need that. All religion does is change a bit and get "lighter" because the parental authority figure does the same thing. People tend to go along with how they are brought up. So many believers really do not believe, but they want to believe. This is again why there are so many religions and over 4000 religious denominations.

There is too much fluid and that is how my kidneys work these days. As for anxiety, I can wake up and wonder if it is time to get up. I look at the clock and go back to sleep. Once my ability to immediately fall back to sleep goes away I might be doomed. :) Religion has nothing to do with this. Imaginary sky beings do not bother me unless they start colluding with the Easter Bunny. I have no worries about hellfire.

Cannabis may have good uses. I have a stomach disorder that my doctors want to ignore, and I also have neuropathy in my feet. The foot tingling has been helped with malic acid capsules and I am fixing once again to ingest DMSO at a teaspoon a day. I am thinking of taking the DMSO and cannabis oil together if need be. It may be radical but I once had a boss who could not walk due to hip problems. He took injections of DMSO and lydacaine and did fine for at least 90 days. In my case I have trouble walking unless I am in my New Balance shoes with diabetic inserts. I do not want to inject anything but pharma grade DMSO will not hurt you. As far as I know doctors have only approved it for one certain type of kidney problem. Google all things before trying them.

So very true. God had a perfect plan and he knows everything in advance. Believers are "sinners" because god's way of getting us here involved incest, not just sex. So much for the perfect plan. The talking snake was actually a "serpent" and it had legs until it was cursed and lost them so it then "slithered" on the ground. This act is so very unbecoming, but note that the serpent told them the truth. Apparently we are to see that god's way doesn't seem right but it will be in the end. Also note that believers all want to see the first man and first woman. This is a strange way of thinking. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? One might as well ask what was the first lifeform. Life in various ways must have sprang up all over. This would negate ideas of a first lifeform, Adam and Eve, or chickens and eggs.

Geese, so many middle aged people here. Where are all the young adults?

I came here because I'm atheist and I'm also a free thinker. I never looked at the site as a dating site, but if I find someone here then so be it. I'm also a bit more than middle aged and I'm an activist and computer geek. The younger generation is concerned with getting laid, or drunk, and maybe just playing games. Claims of many of them that they do not believe in gods are no more than rebellion because they seem to believe in so many other things and do so without evidence. There are no gods and there is nothing that goes bump in the night. Best of luck on your dating whether you find someone here or in other places.

My thoughts are that she will stay right where she is simply because Trump would use Baron against her in every way and try to make it impossible if not hard to see him after the divorce. Melania is likely to stay right where she is because of her son, and I can imagine Trump has made her many other threats if she leaves him and makes him look bad right now.

I know. Just today I met a lady and we started talking. We had so many things in common. Once I got to the **Trump grocery ID cards** she wanted to shut me down by saying he had made one mistake there and she would not let me talk bad about him. I told her I could name many mistakes of this type and that **Trump himself is the "fake news"** that he talks about. She came back with the remark that before Trump got on the scene we all lived in our own little world and in our own little bubble. My reply was that we STILL live in our own little world and our own little bubble. Trump has nothing to do with it. You cannot reason with these people. It's impossible. In Wilkes-Barr, Pa. at a rally recently a woman wants to thank Trump for the tax cuts so badly because for the first time she gets back $300 and no other president has ever done something like that for her. She is so glad that Trump is all for the people. My question is what world was she living in before? Nothing of Trump has made anything any better. Trump even chooses the worst people.
