There was a book out once called "Future Shock." I think there is something to it. Put us all together and "rolling downhill like a snowball headed for hell" and you can see the fear, anger, unfamiliarity, and ignorance needed for this. Bible thumpers say "it's the end times." I say our lives have speeded up so much since 1950 that it is so hard to keep up with everything. This might explain why as we go forward it might look like we also go backward. Roseanne brought this on herself. She can claim she is not racist all she wants, but her remark was directed at Valerie Jarrett who was an Obama advisor. Why now? Why words like "Muslim" and "ape?" It looks to me like Roseanne believes every word Trump ever said about Obama and wanted to stir things up. The problem is simple really. The GOP and powers around them overlook Trump on issues of this sort when he should be taken to task for it and called on the carpet. It won't work that way with Roseanne as she never figured on a brave black ABC President, Ms. Dungey, to take action here that nobody else in the world is doing. The ABC President is showing that we simply will not stand for this. Meanwhile all of Roseanne's old shows are being pulled from syndication, and everyone is treating her as if she was contagious. People pointed out others that had affairs but they missed the whole point. This man ran fro governor using the GOP family values position and the scandal he was fighting proved plainly that he lied to the voters. That did him in. GOP supporters wanted to say it was all OK, and between him and his wife, and that she had forgiven him. I'm sure the voters thought differently. The official resignation is Friday, June 1st. I hear you and I certainly understand. My step father was so afraid of dying in a nursing home that he deliberately made it hard for any one of us to have power of attorney over him. Then, because **he could only walk with a cane, he fell and broke his hip**. This brought about a long ordeal that finally ended well with my daughter as his POA. He's in a good nursing home and has dementia. I went through hell doing all the legal leg work for this and I know he thinks that I hate him. It's not so. Recently he got angry with them and threatened to leave. He told my daughter about it and she told him he could not walk. His reply was **"has anyone around here ever heard of a cane?" **

People flip flop all the time for one reason or another. On another atheist site I'm on a member there always said religion would be "so neat" it it were true. Deep in her heart she wanted it to be true, she said. One day she left because she was marrying a theist. She wanted to be" married to god" so badly that she married a man of god. I believe this is one of the more simple ways of explaining a flip flop. Personally, I can never imagine anyone blubering and crying tears as they say out loud, "Oh, Jebus, I am so sorry. In my case what I would have to be sorry for is a deeper and more critical look at a strange big book made up of at least 66 smaller books that were never meant to be bound as one in the first place. Then you have to always believe Genesis and the Garden of Eden story because without it there is no need of Jesus in the first place. Keep in mind that we have to have a reason that Jesus died. No, it was never banned. It was simply going in a wrong direction. People say that Madalyn Murray O'Hair had prayer banned in schools but what was banned was Bible reading. This was in 1963. A year before that the Supreme Court banned officially sponsored prayer in public schools. Now here is where it gets strange. Most of my school mates are theists. They remember when prayer in public schools was allowed and they remember it as Baptists and Pentecostals. What I remember is teachers saying "those that want to can now have one minute of silent prayer." In my area of mid Missouri it was nothing more and nothing less.

This is pretty close to true. A great percentage of his fans do not watch news, are not political, and think that he is a real estate and business magnet. Therefore any problems he is having has to be political opponents, bad press, and the fact that he had to "learn" this new POTUS job and how everything goes. This last one is why the POS appears to be taking our benefits and money away. Maybe he will catch on soon and we can all be great again. I do believe everything happens for a reason but we do not and cannot always know that reason. I. E. If I drop a rock while holding it, the rock will fall to the ground. If I fire a gun the bullet will travel in a straight line to the target. Now this last one poses a problem. Humans tend to claim they are holding the gun in such a way as to "aim" at the target. If so, why would they miss? I've thrown in a variable to the "things happening for a reason" that we just cannot answer properly. This is when humans throw in an invisible god and start making things up. This is what most people do rather than admit that "they do not know" something. We create our own destiny.
