WHAT IS THE NATURE OF REALITY?

DenoPenno replies on Aug 24, 2019:
@Jolanta People in America are conditioned to believe this in order for the middle class to continue thinking immigrants are taking something from them. Trump and his GOP want them to believe this because they need a little hate. I told a right wing co-worker just yesterday that real voter fraud was not done by "busloads of illegals arriving to vote" and as he walked away he muttered that he knew people who had seen it happen. How do you know even if a bus did arrive? How do you know the people in it are illegal? What words are written on the bus and do the people inside it speak English. It would take an interview in depth by a newspaper reporter to verify the claims of this type of supposed illegal voting.

ICE releases U.
DenoPenno comments on Jul 24, 2019:
ICE does need to reply and explain just why they had a US born 18 year old in their custody. Are they simply trying to comply with the befuddled Donald Trump to keep their jobs or is this a racial thing?

@chalupacabre Things like this show how easily we can be sucked in. It reminds me of the one woman who was quoted as saying if America was going to have a dictator she would prefer that it was Trump. DenoPenno replies on Jul 23, 2019:
@bobwjr I'm sure local law informed ICE because they want to appear as doing what Trump wants. Remember that Ramos-Gomez is not a white man and that ICE is a part of Homeland Security. Local law is not qualified to validate credentials of immigrants but a simple check might have shown that this man is in the US military. Apparently nobody made that check.

My fear is that he will want to use his base to create problems so he can remain in power after 8 years. I have this fear because if anyone had a backbone Trump would be removed from power already. If I found out tomorrow that he was killed or had died I would remark that "it could not have happened to a nicer man."
I am not an atheist.
DenoPenno comments on Jul 17, 2019:
I'm an agnostic atheist. This is because if I tell you with 100 percent certainty that there are no gods it is up to me to produce the evidence. I have none, but you can call yourself whatever you like.
DenoPenno replies on Jul 18, 2019:
@David1955 It is a 50/50 argument. I use the Dawkins approach and that is also used by Matt Dillahunty on the Atheist Experience TV program. To claim something as 100 percent truth it is up to you to produce evidence. The idea of "proving a negative" shows your mind is made up already. Don't let this fool you. I do not believe in gods. You will have to show me evidence.
A silly meme to be sure.

@SeaGreenEyez The way I understand it all products that are imported and have the new Trump tariff tax on them will be paid for initially by the importer. This is NOT the country wanting to sell us goods, but the American company who imports their goods The cost will then be passed on to us the consumer in higher prices. Trump will claim that his tariffs are working because they are making money for the government. This is true but it is "we the people" who will be paying the tariffs. It means Trump is screwing the American public. Die hard Trump supporters want to claim that the real idea is to make people here in America once again start making these products. It's a sham and a lie. For some things to be made cheaper they have to be made in a foreign country. Why? Prices are not the same everywhere.
