birdingnut comments on Mar 4, 2018:
I see that a lot on Facebook. If there is a photo of beautiful scenery, or an animal, often someone will start gushing about wasn't God wonderful to make that scene, or that beautiful Freisian horse, apparently not realizing that humans breed different horse breeds. I just figure that it's ...

My kids tell me not to spoil their god belief for them. They claim to "believe in god in their own way." I tell them this is a great problem with god belief. No evidence and everyone wants it their way.
What would you define as critical human rights?
silvereyes comments on Mar 3, 2018:

DenoPenno comments on Mar 1, 2018:
I try to avoid people with double standards. It's hard to do. I work with white supremacists (not everyone) and just found out yesterday that a man I know favors the KKK. I know all these people but have to watch my tongue So many think that because I am white I should "be proud that I am white." ...
DenoPenno replies on Mar 2, 2018:
@MaryApplin I'm divorced now but while we were married very few people said anything against us racially. At least I didn't hear it. Now that Trump is in the racists think I should be like one of them. If I hear bad words I say openly that I do not use those words, but you have to be careful in order to keep your job. Trump doing away with everything since FDR. We don't need hate. We need good leaders again.

Just hope he stays healthy. We're one heartbeat away from Pence and his Christian dystopia. Hopefully Congress will go blue in November and they can shut him down.
DenoPenno replies on Mar 2, 2018:
Pence and the New Apostolic Reformation. In other words, they represent that same god and Jesus that so many just know helped us found America so we can worship them in Freedom. This is the god that gave us our laws and belongs in our courts system as well as public school system. This is the Kentucky Ark god and the Museum of the Bible god.

Hair. It is taboo for a man to have long hair in certain circles, and to be accepted, he must wear it short. A woman can wear her hair how she likes.
DenoPenno replies on Mar 1, 2018:
People get the modern hair thing out of scripture. Even so, hair length was longer in men in biblical times and in the time of Lincoln.

DenoPenno comments on Feb 27, 2018:
I do sympathize. I'm divorced and 71, living alone and doing much like I did in younger life. I have a very cheap mortgage and do not want to move. What would make you believe in a God?
Rikachu comments on Sep 29, 2017:
If 'god' exists, it would know exactly what would convince me. Either it is unable to, unwilling, doesn't care, or simply does not exist.
DenoPenno replies on Feb 19, 2018:
I agree with your every word. In fact, this god would know what it would take to make any person believe and that would be the evidence god would have provided. Scripture says god does not want anyone to perish, so why the lack of evidence? It can't be about "faith." Did the 500 people who saw the risen Jesus have faith? No, they did not need it. Paul wanted to convince everyone, but we might ask if Jesus even knew 500 people. If he did, how would they know him? Was he floating in the air or did he show them all his hands that will now remain nail scarred forever? For the record, I no longer believe the Goat and Sheep Herders Guide to the Galaxy. Too much nonsense.

Why are Christians being marginalized in America?
DenoPenno comments on Feb 11, 2018:
