I grew up as the youngest of 3 boys in a poor family in northern Michigan. My parents weren't stuck in tradition, and wanted to raise us kids to be intelligent and compassionate. In school, I had a few good friends, but was generally socially ostracized. I got into gaming as a way of meeting new people and having friends. I got a job at the local game store a little while after school, and loved it. The owner didn't want to pay me, so I started my own store. I ran it semi-successfully for a while, before meeting someone. Two mouths to feed was too much for a small town start-up, so I took a new job. We got married, had a kid, and moved to somewhere warmer, NC. Things fell through, and she left. Now it's me and my daughter just trying to get by. I'm a gamer, science lover, arm-chair philosopher, and progressive. I'm a lot more, too, so if you are curious, please ask!
