I'm a lead IV technician in a 200+ bed hospital and have 7 shih tzus (plus an army of cats) and make the same promises about walks and all and it never happens. We have the same conservative a--holes fighting mask and vaccine mandates and then showing up at the er half dead crying "cure me" and "I don't wanna die". They refuse to mask up in the buildings and act like idiots when told they have to. A few of us in the pharmacy-I haven't had the time to speak with any other departments- are waiting for the post holiday surge, and we are scared. Good luck and hang in there-and don't do what I did after a really bad night-half a 9 inch pecan pie and a spoon. Took me 5 minutes. Not a good idea.
