I was married for 25 years. Divorced in 2016 We drifted apart over time. The last 5 or 6 years, we were basically roommates with a common child (she’s awesome:) and bank account. When she suggested the divorce, it didn’t take long to realize that neither of us was happy. We’re still on good terms with each other, and work together to help our daughter through college.

Regulations, while irksome to big business can also be looked at as creating job opportunities. If a coal burning electric plant needs to clean up its emissions, someone has to design, build and install the needed scrubber system. It may seem onerous to the big industry which had previously been able to pollute with no regard for public safety, but now has created jobs, and is less destructive to the environment and in all likelihood passed on any costs to the consumer.
