I travel to those countries for work and I always worry if someone will "catch" me and detain me for my lack of belief. I find that in the 21st century, so many people are acting barbaric....

My azaleas will be fully in bloom in another few days - I think. Cool mountain temps allow everything to bloom out in waves of color - unlike in SC - where it seemed like everything "popped" at once. These wild ferns are just poking their heads up - they grow wild all over this property....

Actually no. The owner of the property, who is also the one who did the excavating, etc was fighting the town at every turn. Not to be mean, but old guy actually croaked several weeks ago now the estate is having to deal with it. From what I understand the town sued & now the estate is selling off quite a bit of land (including the parcels in the photos) to cover the cost of fixing it.

Actually Swamp & Carolina Jessamine are 2 different versions. Swamp blooms in spring & fall unlike Carolina which only blooms in the spring. I do think Carolina has stronger aroma.

@Zoohome, @Shouldbefishing yes - white clover & they have something called micro-clover which is suppose to be a bit smaller [shorter]. Most of what I have growing is wild but I did buy a little for some dead spots. My biggest problem is the short legs of my Yorkies 🤣🤣🤣 white clover grows about 4" their legs are only 3".........

@gigihein yay! All I have done [so far] reported them so their roots have plenty of room - no dirt, I use bark but others use moss or something like that - I water once a week [soak them for about 10 or 15 minutes] others use an ice cube... and I fertilize once a month.

Beautiful. Have you ever tried oriental lillys? Root flower. Grows green plant which dies out then spikes a beautiful, fragrant, white bloom.

@Allamanda I have mine in pots [with air holes] and bark in the pots - I put the pot & all in the sink once a week for 15 minutes or so but I would love to figure out a way to go more natural.

@Lincoln55 I loved walking the streets in San Diego - such talent. And then, when I would go to Palm Springs market days what they could paint on paper or canvas with spray paint! I could have watched for hours [my friends were not as thrilled as I was].
