I was the big sister to my sisters, however we have three older brothers. I only saw one of my brothers rather irregularly, but we'd invite him for Thanksgiving, he's about 50 miles away. I'd also take him to lunch when I was in his town. He'd stay at my house for Thanksgiving night, and I'd drive him to my daughter's house for the dinner. So a couple of years ago he chose to complain about my driving and a few other things by email, very condescending. I let him know he was a poor guest, never said thanks for what we did for him, and thank you I've been driving for years without your help. He told me to shove it and I haven't heard from him since. One of the sisters also noticed he never said thanks or any politeness. I used to be his emergency contact with the VA as he has no kids or SO. He ended up in the hospital and I didn't get a call. Fine, I'm to busy to worry about him.

You have the best lures in your tackle box and can't even get a bite. Do you resort to extreems?

I seem to be overrun with bunnies this year, I'm thinking maybe because of local flooding they have decamped to higher ground, like my neighborhood. I'm pretty sure my lawn crew ran over a few burrows when they mowed the the yard, but I'm not home when they mow and I'm not going to go out and look. At another house I couldn't grow Purple cone flowers because the bunnies would eat them down to the ground in no time flat. Yes, Iike to see bunnies and no, I really don't.

I've been here about 18 months, and I hit the halfway point to 10 a few weeks ago. So, level 9 lasts almost forever. However, I'm here cuz I like the community and get lots of support here. I'd be here even if there were no levels. As to fair, it is a free site. What else would you expect? Admin does consider our input. I have no complaints atm.

Most "christians" have never read all the bible. They might read select verses, but essentially they do what they think they have heard preached from the pulpit. Most of them are timing the sermon, it should not last more than 20 minutes, and after 17 minutes will be trying to catch the preacher's eye to signal him/her to wrap it up. And then there are the versions of the bible, many translations, no one can agree on what the ancient language actually means so they're putting their own spin on it.

There are inconsistencies that make me go ewww. Drilling engineer working in the gulf living in godforsaken Lansing Kansas. That is a hell of a commute. OTOH I have a friend that is gone for weeks at at a time on an oil rig and when he's between jobs he lives here in Omaha. I know him from HS so real guy, I know his wife.
