Mothers Day 2008 or 2009. I had let my ex know I wanted a flower bed built in the back yard. My ex has a Xian Hymnal website. That year he wrote an Easter hymn. He used music from another hymn and wrote new words. Nothing about mothers or love or children. He dedicated that hymn to me on his website. When I opened the envelope and read the words and the dedication I almost barfed. He should not have quit his day job and I hate poetry anyway. I said "thank you." and changed the subject. In our divorce I specified that my name had to be taken off his website. Gag me, freaking gag me. I filed for divorce a few months later

I am most likely to eat eggs on the weekends when I take a bit more time with breakfast. During the week breakfasts are prepared ahead of time and in the fridge. I frequently will scramble and egg with onions and garlic, maybe cheese and have it with toast and salsa. Or get weird and add other stuff. Pesto sauce is good with eggs.

I see this in my job. I am a claims examiner for short term disability. Either vague diagnoses, or long ass waits for diagnostic testing. Medical care in the US is a huge crap shoot. As I will be out of a job in 10 days, I will be uninsured. That though is scary, and will be the motivation to find a new job as soon as I recover from this job.

After moving in they realized they might have mice. Then psycho kitty confirmed it.... by killing said mousies. Actually, Goggle street views shows my former roommate/renter sitting in my garage. He must have been waiting for a ride. I like to google places I used to live and see how they have changed. The house I grew up in had a huge old Locust tree in the front yard. That is gone now which is incredibly sad. It was a majestic old tree. I was actually mentally prepared to be escorted out by security. However, we agreed that I could resign and work down my caseload for the next week. So my last day at work is a week from tomorrow. They did suggest I take the rest of the day off, which was wise. It is a tough job, lots of "moving parts." I could deal ok with a load of 60 to 70 claims, but they want us to manage over 100. And my manager has said many times it is not a good fit for just anyone. I tried my damndest, but there comes a point you have to stop killing yourself. My anxiety levels have been off the charts for a very long time. My oldest will be having surgery in a few weeks, I will be available to help her with the baby as she recovers. And then I will seriously look for a new job.
