Out here we run outside with cameras to get good pictures.... My sister got a great one when we were kids. I was driving home about 10 years ago, heard the sirens and the radio, and decided I could still make it home. OOPS! I felt my tires leave the pavement for a few seconds, the wind was that strong. Now if I am at home I head for the basement with my kitty girls till it all blows over. At work the send us to the dungeons, ok, they call it basement and it leads to the parking garages.

I have that issue, or waking up at night and not being able to get back to sleep. There are several things I use to get to sleep. Booze, pot, benadryl are effective. I sometimes soak in a warm to hot bath with Epsom Salts for as long as I can stand it. Meditation before sleep helps too. Getting enough exercise during the day helps, so you're really tired at bed time.

My experience is that most people are religious by default only. They are christian because they aren't Jewish or Muslim. They sit in the pews on selected Sundays and think they punched their ticket. They have no idea what the buy bull really says and zone out during the sermon. They're xian because the grew up in a community that was nominally xian. The rest is meaningless.

I process short term disability claims, and every week, if not every day, I am hearing that people are fighting with their health insurance company because it doesn't think a surgery is necessary or the right surgery. OMG, they're second guessing the doctors. And delaying healing. And creating unnecessary burdens on the insured. In the mean time that is causing their time loss at work to grow. FMLA only protects your job for 12 weeks, and then your employer can fire you, and you have no insurance anymore. Insurance in the US is a for profit monster. The bill of rights guarantees life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Well, health insurance is life, and it is being fucked with. Health insurance from your employer is a form of slavery and I want to see that changed as soon as possible.
