C of E is The Episcopal Church in the US, and very liberal. The UMC (United Methodist Church) in many areas tends to be very liberal, and does the United Church of Christ. Presbyterians are fairly liberal as well. At one time I belonged to UMC, UCC, and Presbyterian. I don't miss them at all.

One of my quirks is I like big and unusual words. That gets me into trouble at work, I need to keep my language at a 5th grade level when I am on the phone with families, and then one of the $5 words comes out of my mouth. And my line is recorded... oy.

You can also throw all your veggies in a sink full of water with vinegar and let soak. And then give them a brief scrub and dry them off. Most fruits as well. Cuz even if they are organic, you don't know who or what has handled them, or sneezed on them in the store or shop.

So much for gawd judging us for our hearts. The whole song has always made me so very angry. It deliberately plays on the emotions and the theology is just flat wrong. I visited Dacchau on a date... Yes, my soon to be second husband and I were stationed in Germany but not co-located. I worked a wonky schedule, but one ot the times our days off coincided we went to visit some of the historic sites in Germany, we felt it was important enough, in fact very important. It was powerful, and yes quite a downer. But I will never, ever forget it. About 25 years later I was in Washington DC with my two oldest and the fiance of the oldest, and we ended up having to stay til Monday and had nothing scheduled on Sunday. I told the kids to choose, and they chose the Holocaust Museum. That was one of those "damn, I did good moments." It too was very moving, very powerful.

@Beowulfsfriend At this time I have no idea. When I went to Germany I sold the car to my sister. She then moved out in the boonies. One night on the way home the car went into the ditch. She had been following her husband in another car, he was able to get her out, but the car had to wait until morning. During the night vandals broke into it and messed it up bad. Poor little car.

@darthfaja All I can speak for is my hospital. If you are not on a formal payment plan and you have not paid the balance in several months it will be looked at by collections. My billing software allows me to set up a payment plan. When that is in the account and payments are being made timely, it will not go to collections. If it is not a formal payment plan, the account is noted but a plan is not set up, it could well go to collections after 3 or so months.

@BBJong Where I work if you have not made a payment in 3 months it will be looked at by collections. We try to encourage payment plans so you can spread the payments out and that keeps the accounts from collections.

One day while the kids were in school I took a nap with the golden retriever behind me and the cat in front of me, on top of the electric blanket. I was cozy!! The cat was very people bonded and loved full body contact. The dog was just a love sponge. Best nap ever. Both the cat and dog are gone now, the kids are grown up with kids of their own, and I work full time.

She has to read Evidence That Demands a Verdict, which he gave to one of the other girls and I sold at Half Price Books for her a few years ago. January 13, 2021 My newest and smallest grandchild. She arrived 5 weeks early and is now 2.5 weeks old and is less than 7 pounds. I've never held such a small baby before. She is quite perfect and very amazing. I love being a Grammy.
