Love your story! And the pictures aren't half-bad also (just being my smart-ass self)... Seriously, I really liked the cabin in the woods- the blue sky against the red adds to the scene. I like the brick wall too although I think that the lamp post deetracts from the scene (not a criticism, we all have personal tastes). Question- are you a photographer who's against editing your photos? For example, I had a picture of Mt Shasta but there were wires in the way. It was taken from a moving train and I obviously couldn't change my viewpoint. I had no qualms about editing out the wires. Another favorite is the Tortilla Grill. And the picture of the dogs is charming.

I saw the clip. Because someone said that disinfectant killed the virus on solid surfaces, and that UV light also killed it, he was actually suggesting that injection and interior body UV light be tested by doctors. Not only is it a stupid idea but he also was attacking the integrity and intelligence of medical professionals. He was really saying "why didn't you think of this? I, being the genius that I am, did." Another instance of his delusion that he knows more than anyone.

Fantastic photos! The clarity is superb. My favorite is number 7. The rocks in the foreground give it depth. And I love the contrast of the different shades of blue between the sky and the water. Number 5 is my 2nd favorite- great balance of the horizontal lines. Then there's the 1st photo... I'd better give up on ranking them... The Bay of Fundy... I first heard of it when I was a kid. Life magazine put out a book (The World We Live In) in the mid 50s which had pictures.

I think that we all would wish to do that about now. Very nice composition- the slope of the sail and the lines draw the viewer's attention to the horiiiiiiizon and make the photo come alive. They give a sense of movement.

I was going to say that the subject was a good choice for b/w conversion... then I saw the original. I'm trying to figure out the different reactions that each photo elicited. The colored version evokes... grandeur... reaching for the sky... Something like that. Yje b/w version is stark... no nonsense... here it is...I think the b/w puts more emohasis on the formatiom itself whereas the color version puts the formation as it relates to its environment...

The compositon of the 1st photo is very good. There is the sweep of the flowers from the upper right to the lower left. and the vertical green 'stems' on the middle right side of the photo contrasts nicely with the grass and the vertical trees. I particularly like the detail in the 4th and 8th photos.

Nice shot of the dogwood. Was that sunrise or sunset? Like the colors. I think the vertical pictures are more dramatic than the horizontal one- the height of the trees adds to the impact. The wind chime picture is very creative. Does the ball light up itself or did you illuminate it? And the contrast between the three different shapes is striking. The vertical brass chimes, the globe, and the semi-rectangle of the plate holding the chimes... It all fits together well. You used good judgement in including that (the top part) in th picture. It wouldn't have been the same without it.

I liked the 1st photo the best. Nice balance between the land in the foreground and the blurred buildings in the background. It makes the plant really stand out... and yet... it also joins the plant with the buildings in a kind of surreal almost mystical sense.

I really liked the first two where I could see the grain of the wood. Having said that, and it's only a personal preference, I would have liked to see the wood a little brighter and have more detail visible. Do you use any software to adjust your photos? A camera will typically use settings (if on automatic) that are calculated for the photo as a whole and not necessarily the parts of the photo that we want highlighted. This is not a criticism, just a suggestion. By the way, I would appreciate it if people would make suggestions on the photos I submit; everyone of us can improve with the help of other photographers.
