I live in Massachusetts. I use to be a spiritual seeker most of my life. The story of how I came to be an avowed atheist as opposed to someone who was constantly seeking is sort of bizarre and better left to share privately. I do miss the palliative illusion, I admit, with chagrin. Oh well, wishing it were so does not make it so. I would love to meet someone here, but also just am so psyched to find this place at all. The characteristics that separate me from the majority just seem to keep adding up. I believe religion is a deleterious force in society for very specific and personal reasons. I love science, although not that great at it, like to read narrative nonfiction, most recently read Woolly, about de-extincting the woolly mammoth. I like nature and anyplace outdoors near water
