I’ve been retired since I was 51. My 2nd husband died in 2015. We had a good 10 years together. My older sister died last July, and seeing all the death and misery made me realize that all we have is today! I was raised Catholic and church was the source of guilt and when the priests were exposed for abusing kids and then hiding it, that was it for me!
I am reasonably content with my life and enjoy all that I have accomplished, but it would be nice to have a companion and partner.
