Ok - to be fair - we've drifted off topic. To Tibert's question - I believe that all males - regardless of the species - are driven by testosterone. Depending on how high up or down the evolutionary ladder you are determines whether or not you act freely on those hormonal urges. I had a beautiful German Shepherd - when I rescued him he was a wild hormone on the end of a leash - he humped everything that stood still. The vet said get him neutered right away - he will feel so much better about himself. I've never heard it put quite that way but we did ....and he did...and he never once so much as sniffed a crotch after that. So here's the takeaway: dogs will screw anything if the pheromones are right - they don't care how pretty she is. Some men won't be with a woman unless she's attractive....others will wrap her in the flag and do it for old glory....

You're on the right track....I know it seems like it will take forever but once you get to a weight that makes you feel really good about yourself, a lot of other things will click into place. (some) people see us as we see ourselves so when you project that you feel good about YOU - others will feel that way too. Maybe get involved in some volunteer activities that will bring you in contact with a potentially new circle of friends - who knows, something could grow from that, too.
