@michelle666gar That quote comes from "The Notebooks of Lazarus Long" which was added into the book "Time Enough for Love" in two parts. He had quite a few gems in those sections of the book. I now have a first edition hardcover of it in my personal library. I first read it while in high school and had to keep it and many other of the books I read hidden from my parents or they would have thrown them in the trash when my back was turned.

Actually it seems a lot of Republicans seem to be voting against him and are being very vocal about it... And WaPo is having real issues for not endorsing Harris because a large number of subscribers have quit on them and are having to beg people to come back...
