If my eldest have been indoor/outdoor as a diabetic he would already be dead. I spend a couple thousand a year keeping him alive, happy and healthy and I hope he lasts a long time dying in his sleep without pain many years from now... My youngest decided she wanted to be indoor only after living the first 9 months of her life as a feral came inside and started playing with my boy who fell in love with her in return and though she went out the first night came back the next day and never showed any sign of wanting to return to outdoor life at all. She is just happy to lay in the window and watch the other cats remembering how good she has it.
