There have been improvements to electric stoves over the decades and they aren't just coiled elements any more. Besides much of the problem with electric stoves is due to people buying cheap cookware. The biggest issue I have with a gas stove top is the hot spots that cause scorching of your food so I am thinking that the real issue is cookware not type of stove. I have most of my cookware upgraded to bonded heat sink type that spreads heat more evenly and plan to replace this gas stove and oven to a modern electric with an inductive stove top.

@FrayedBear I would love to see a cop or DA try to get a warrant for "no place"... Any defense attorney would likely dance with joy since the constitution specifically limits search warrants by requiring them to describe the items you are allowed to search for and places that you are allowed to search.

Sometimes I make errors either through outdated information or some other reason but I try my damnest to own those mistakes and admit that I in fact made them...
