I love a conversation with people interested in learning and understanding. Hope you do too!
Raised by a jewish fiddler and a church organist I found quickly that the god of the bible was not a particularly competent deity. I was fortunate to have a liberal arts education. Got a BS in Nursing and had worked in the hospital for 10 years. Now i am a Carpenter (“like jesus” as i like to say.)
I am gentle and kind, an advocate for equity, and social justice. I love nature, science, and arts and craftsmanship of all kinds.
I am moderate in my desire for travel. Given the choice, I would rather go to a botanical garden, museum, or cottage than a cruise or resort. I am also content to stay home, but I eat at restaurants often.
I love clever humor, my closest friends are really funny people and I am very grateful. They are also diverse in their ideologies and I respect them even when we disagree. If you can not tolerate people unless they agree with your opinions we will probably not be a good match.
I once over heard one of my best friends say “Lucas doesn’t have a dishonest bone in his body.” This meant a lot to me, because being an ethical man of character is very important to me and to the people i gravitate to.
