I appreciate you posting this. I take precautions when my little guy is out & about. I just would not kill an animal because it is doing what is natural. But then my bird feeder provides plenty of action as I have sacrificed cardinals, mourning doves, lots of voles to the raptors. Could one shoot at and not aim to hit work as a deterrence?
