Here is how I justify my opinion. I listen to border town interviews. I listen to ranchers & farmers whose property a butts the border. I read statistics to monitor the ebb & flow of peoples on, around & through the border states. I listen to friends who go back and forth across the border & who reside on either side. Mexico is our 2nd largest trading partner, so I watch their stock market, their peso value, their economic strength & know how jobs in Mexico keep immigration to the US low. How the USA's thirst for drugs fuels the corruption there. How our gun running into Mexico is ignored by the biased media. We have always had a strained relationship with our southern neighbor. Catholic vs Protestant Spanish vs Anglican./Germanic. Manifest Destiny & the extirpation of the indigenous vs the Moslem influenced Spanish method of intermarrying with the enemy. When they have a large Amer-Indian population while our First Peoples are in scattered pockets which were reserved for them until gold, silver or il was found. Digressing.
