Religion is the icing on the cake and as long as they remain tax expempt organizations then we will never see Universal Health Care and the destruction of Social Security and Medicare which are not funded by the Government who thinks they are to be used for whatever bizarre war they want to wage. Tax them and use the funds for Health Care which is as Christian as you can get.

I'm retired so I have to go the Gym "Religiously". I hate Doctors and the Bull Sh#$ medications they want to dose you on so you can come back in three weeks sicker then you were before you came in the first place. You don't have to go to the Gym. A nice long walk into the wild is better and more relaxing. How far did I go and how much farther should I go.? F#$k it and stretch your mind and body at the same time. Pick up a stick and raise it over your head 20X and then swing your arms another twenty times with the same stick, walk sideways, backwards and do jumping jacks in place while your walking. I still walk 5 miles every day which makes me know that there is nothing I need anyone else to put into my head.

I'm a Veteran who went to a Community College and advanced to a Four Year Accredited College. I remained on the Deans List for all of these Learned Institutiions and I only accomplished this thur working numerous summer jobs for if I fell off the track it would be a major disaster that would take me a while to recover from. It was the hardest job I ever had and the most challenging one I ever had to endure and when I got to the end of the rope did I come to know that the light at the end of the tunnel was not another train coming to meet me head on.

Just got back from Israel. Before that it was Germany, Spain, Portugal, England, Scotland, Brussels, Paris, and Rome. I hit Amesterdam and Rotterdam for a week coming out of Germany. I will hopefully go to Prague, Budapest and Warsaw on the next voyage in the Autumn or some time depending on the flights and I may try to venture back to Rome which I loved but could only spend a week when I went. I was hoping to go to India but its too big and I don't know anyone whom I could trust. That was a mistake I made already but I found out exactly what I feared about the People.

Shantaram by Gregory Allen Roberts. Mostly true story of a very educated individual who became a heroin addict and was convicted and sent to prison in Austrailia where he escapes and flees to India where he spends maybe 10 yrs or so until he gets caught and sent back to Austrailia where he does his time and is released. The man knows how to write and the story is true for the most part. Look it up for reviews and his description of India and the people he meets is almost as good as Papillion.

Feed the critters. Take all of my edible vegestables, onion peels, banana skins, pepper tops and egg shells and what ever else is natural and go out for my walk and leave it on a trail for the deer, rabitts, racoons, birds, whoever comes along.

It's hard for me to understand how some people are able to sleep in until at least 11am-1 pm.

Chill young Lady and don't worry about those who stay up all night or sleep until the whatever hours of the day. Lots to talk about and to address those who work night jobs or work in stress related jobs and need extra time at the end of their day to Chill. These people do not take meds and so their lives are more unaltered by this factor. I would sometimes work 10-12 hrs work days of extensive physical labor and would have to travel for another hour to go home at which time I would consume like 4 beers go to sleep without my head hitting the pillow and wake up two minutes before my alarm went off. It was called body time and I never realized how it is the most accurate mind blowing experience you could ever experience. Was it the need to pee after drinking the beer that woke me up was not there because it was always like ten minutes before my alarm went off. If you get four hours of real deep sleep then your good for a healthy next adventure . Yes I slept on the train in on the way into work but I always made the train and rarely needed my alarm to wake me but at time it did bring me around. I could never do this if I was taking any medications and would think that any one else could. Medications will alter your whole live style in many ways.

I was in Israel for 6 weeks and went into Palestine, Jordan and the four Holy Cities. The Muslims are not as bad as you would think and the Palestinians are a pain in the ass more than a threat. If you were being treated the way that the Jews are treating them you wouldn't just stand there and take it. When I first heard the Travelling Willbury's and then I was able to pick out Roy Orbison who passed shortly after. The Highwaymen is another group who when together I feel were more powerful than alone. Simon and Garfunkle, the Beatles, and Crosby, Stills Nash and Young were so great and then poof. Tony Bennett does a lot of duos with some really great singers and do they ever bring it on. Look hard and go and visit a few times. Looks are very deceiving. Yes you can get into some nice looking on the outside but not so population wise. If your going to move out of state which can be great again you have to go a few times and live in the immediate area for a week or more to really get a feel for what is going on. Size again is another problem and very important. Don't believe floor plans or lay outs which are deceiving. Stay away from newly constructed places which still need alot of work or faulty work that you are not aware of. Once you move plan to move again and then maybe again.

Florida is a right to work state and so who knows who built it or engineered it. I'm sure some Politician had a hand in giving out the contract which is usually the case. There were probably no inspectors when this was being fabricated which was not where it was installed. That it was put up in a week or less is the other sketchy dilemma. I could go thru a few hundred things that should have been done prior to this being installed but that will not bring any one back. Don't take the fundamentistal pledge about believing. There are like 5000 known mistakes in the Bible and more be uncovered every day as well as new findings which concede with the other findings in the early 1900. Its nothing to be guilty about and having a healthy skepticism is a very normal and healthy mental attribute. You can reveiw all of the Sexual Misconducts that exists in all religions as well as fraudulent representations. Along with the Catholic Church you can review Jimmy Swaggert, Jim and Tammy Baker and even Billy Graham who at one time realized he couldn't get out of it because of all the money he was making. Check out Joel Olsteen on that one also and tell me what his religion is truly about. The Inquisition is also of notable study and then go to the Scholars like Bart Erhman, The Atheist Experience which is a weekly radio show as well as a website on You Tube to soothe your guilt. Even You Tube the Gospels and see what I'm talking about and a host of scholars to debate what is rightfully historic and documented which is something most of the Bible is not.

I think most persons who go that road do so wanting to experience a feeling of release and to connect with something other than the Sunday Service. Native Indians had a beautiful way of life and understanding thier existence which for the most part was totally in balance and harmony with Mother Earth, and Nature. Even the Ancients Greeks and had a more plausible explaination of life than what we are told 'to believe'. They were also advanced in Mathematics and other sciences which are still in existence today. What drugs did they take? I'm sure they had some and that the natural ones are still available because they are natural.

I don't read books, I read Authors. Pat Conroy, John Irving, Larry Mc Murtry. Beach Music by Conroy, A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, and Dairy Queen by Larry McMurtry. Dairy Queen is about McMurty becoming a writer, and his growing up in Texas. Its a short read by he can hold your attention and you will learn much about how to spot a good writer, because he goes thru a host of them.

I always use the analogy that our shit and syphliis is their bread and butter. You will never hear them more vocal that when some discomfort or sadness hits you unexpectantly and boy do they ever like to get you when your not knowing what they are really doing and only when you look back at it were able to really figure it out. When your born and when you pass are their two most prominent appearances that can always be remembered. When you look up the word 'Sympathy' you will find that it is located between Shit and Syphiliis which is why I find it hard to forget. The different rites of passage among other religions and in early history are more meaningful and not as draube as we are given today.

AA ers are the worse when it comes to this question because they couldn't control what they thought they could. The same goes for drug addicts and alcahol is a drug which is why they call it "dope" I am not a weed smoker and at my stage in life I am not going to start. I am dedicated beer drinker whose Irish Ancestry taught me the respect for the stout. I never ventured farther and learned that beer was invented because it killed the taste of the water. For 30 years I worked Construction and when I came home after a 6 and sometimes 7 day work week I always had two or three beers to unwind and get ready for the next day. Austrailians who go on the wagon consider drinking beer as abstinence and I don't know about that because I only drink beer and could sometimes consume a lot on occasion. Mixing drugs with Alcahol is insanity as are drugs mixed with other drugs or hard line drugs. I was never looking to get insane. I was born that way and learned how to produce a show which never failed reviews or had a violent or hurtful ending. Control and mediantion plus a good diet are the staples of living in any country, culture or society.

When you come face to face with a racist, it will be an experience you will never forget. Their hatred is so deep seated and it goes to everything thats not Lily according to their shortsightedness. There are many secretive organizations in the US today be it the Mafia, Masonic or Skull and Bones all of whom keep it low key and all have been under scruitiny at certain times but out of sight is not always out of mind. This is definitely the Good Old Boys Club that has come to realize that they are being outnumbered and these individuals are smarter then and are more travelled. We are talking about the good old boys who still live in the Family House and have all the Pictures and Flags to support thier distorted views. Again the Draft brought that all into perspective when in 1967 you got and upfront, direct introduction into "The Way We See It." Its very scary, and you have to remember that these individuals are Bible Thumpers who use the Bible to support their hatred and bigotry.

The Amtrack up to Canada along the Hudson River is very nice. The Border can be a problem but the Hudson and Lake Champlain are really nice. The best one is supposed to be across the Canadian Rockies but that you have to search out because of the weather and the time of year. I think they have a hop off hop on policy which you can find out when you research it.

Viet Nam is 98% Catholic. The Pope was aware of the Holocoust being commited during WW11 and did nothing or mentioned anything about it. My Rant that I always speak to my Friends. I was told long ago in my College Days by many intellectuals that I "See Too Much" I have an excellent problematic and am hypersensitive. Did I ever latch onto any of it. I was walking a tight rope trying to pay for my "away from home" experience at a University that I was enable to secure with a student loan and the GI Bill and working three jobs in the summer. My Dad passed two weeks before I was drafted into the Army but he made me promise him before he passed that I would go and complete my College and that by going away was the only way that I could fully grasp the being there 24/7. I transferred from a Community College and had to start all over which was another episode that made it all the more enjoyable. Does get knocked down 5 times, get up 6 come into play here. It was a totally different education from those who went to the same school for 4 years, and I think I learned twice as much as they did, but then again I was a Veteran and wasn't into picking the berries, or what concert was I thinking about next. I came to terms with what its all about and I made every second everything I could for all that I could.

Try Bart Erhman who is a Professor of Theology at Chapel Hill. He is also on You Tube in which he hosts some great debates and also takes Q@A at the end of his debate. Then go and look up Christopher Hitchen. Bios of Martin Luther, Calvin, Erasumus, and John Hun all of whom were devote Christian Scholars of their times and what contributions they made to ensure that the interpertation and explainations were properly translated. Lots of Mistakes were made and this was an era when the printing press made all this information open to the public for the first time ever. This is all on You Tube fur free.

I lost the post and cannot find it where you stated that you were trying to learn the guitar. Get rid of the concept of "trying" and replace it with "I'm going to learn how to play the guitar." You will never fail as long as you don't quit. Keep saying to yourself that You Are Going To Play the Guitar. I will tell you more later on my episode with Music. Don't go for expensive lessons. Lots of alternatives out there.

I have always had a hard time getting people to understand the fact that there is no test now or ever which can measure genius. The IQ test was designed for one and only one reason. To measure Mental Retardation. End of Statement. Lots of Movies, Stories, Factually documented about persons who have noted disabilities and can perform on levels of achievement that cannot be measured. If your looking for bragging rights about how smart you think you are or what Ivy League School, or prominent private school you attended, save it for the Class Reunion.

The first time it is a mistake, the second time its your own damm fault. I always tried to hard and probably with the wrong people or I got to realize that those who wanted to marry were afraid of being alone. I know lots of people who have children and are not married and then at some point for some strange reason, they decide to but say that it doesn't make anything any different. Its usually for moneytary or health insurance reasons.

It is one of the most eye opening revelations you could ever want to explore. Then go and read the lives of Luther, Calvin, Erasumus and John Calvin. Most of todays current Religious Leaders don't want you to know this and will damm you for ever giving it a thought. Many Atheists were at one time extremely religious until they discovered these facts. The scrolls that were discovered in the Late 1800, early 1900 in Iraq lost scrolls were found that were burried in earthen jars in caves. The Nag Hammadi scrolls contain some of the lost books which include the Gospel of Thomas. There is also a Gospel of Mary Magdelene who was the most famous apostle of the prophet Jesus because she was literate, and was also believed to be his wife. If you really want to follow that episode, you will find some facinating facts and contradictions to what was thought to have been destroyed by Constantine who was a Pagan. I think Constantine had his Wife and Son Murdered before he was baptized so he could go and confess it and be forgiven. You may want to check up on that one because its been a while, but I'm pretty sure of such a fact. Where and what book I am at a loss.

Lots of History into these Religious Carnival Entrepreneurs of Today. My favorite is Joel Olsteen who has the Christianity of a Snake Oil Salesman and a Congregation to Match. We can then follow the trail onto Jimmy Swaggert, Pat and Tammy whom all reign from the Souther Coalition of Racism, Bigotry and Hatred. I think looking in the Mirror every morning would be more frightening then examing your morals which all of the above haven't a clue about. Morals have nothing to do with religion because they are naturally instilled into logically. Hatred, Bigotry and Racism have to be taught or preached from the stump. Professional Wrestling has a brighter and bigger mirror for whatever that is worth but it is one of the most watched venues on the Media today which tells you how these con a vails exist and the mentality of those who follow. Gospels of Thomas, and Gospel of Mary Magdelene only for perspective and interest. Very different portayals of what the Prophet Jesus was really about by two of his very close associates. Also lots of stories that the Church doesn't want to be let known. I am a fan of Hitchens and have seen his debates on You Tube although I haven't gotten into his readings. I've been to Europe for the past 6 years and thats all I do is visit Cathedrals, Churches and Chapels along the way. The art work and architecture, frescos, wood work, ceilings and doorways are unknown and these artists spent their lives creating what no museums in America can compare. Germany is second to Italy which I need to go back because I was so amazed by it. Even the floors are original so you know that Kings, Popes and Royalty renown walked on the very floors and some are buried underneath them. The Organs and if you hear them play are totally like nothing else you would believe.

Religious People see it as more profit and then people would go to church not because of thier religious beliefs but because of the particular person or type of service.
