I learned, early, that jealousy is an immature, insecure feeling. It has no value in adult relationships. If you have others flirting with your S.O. - you watch how (s)he handles it. If they take it well but don't show they're "enamored" then it's a sign you're still the most significant. If (s)he responds to the flirt with strong responses - if (s)he appears "enamored"....then you have work to do...on yourself, first...to return to S.O. status. If you see your S.O. status fading - then you have to go to the root of why it's fading. You have to ask yourself - Is it you or him/her? To be "jealous" is just showing him/her you're upset. Some immature folk appreciate a "jealous" partner. I see that as a game-player...and have little/no respect for that. They might not be related...and I haven't heard it as a "common" effect. I concur; It was an incredible feat of endurance and athleticism! Not only that, but it was a blazing hot celebration of the careers of two very successful and influential minority women, of which I think we could use a lot more. ...but let me add; that's what some men find sexy; the athleticism of these women.
