Been there, done that...my hand grinder and French press have been "retired"... For me....it comes down to good filtered water, and a paper filter. I recommend you use the (gold) metal filter if you like a "muddier" coffee. Taste the water. Does it have a nice "mouth and throat" feel? That's the secret, to me. Marriage is a challenge. You have to learn give and take. You have to learn compromise. Some say it's a higher level of relationships.....some suggest it's more challenging to live with...and love....yourself. I just stayed with a couple who have been married 52 years. They sleep in separate rooms. Act rude to eachother. But still do things for eachother. I'm not sure if they're very happy. - - - - - - - - I've tried Both. 1st marriage; 10 years (she died young, of cancer). 2nd...11 years. 3rd only 2, the fourth only 5. Living by myself was frightening and insecure at first. I'm finally falling deeply in love with exactly who I am...no compromising. More challenging? Easier? Not sure.

I'd talk about Trump in a way that was flattering. After all; he did "persuade" 60 million plus Americans to vote for him; and he did win the race against 20 something other candidates...so that has some cred.... The trick is to persuade him.To make him realize that he's basically a good person who's gone in an unwise direction. Not an easy task. Ask George Stephanolpolous. He is - as the original Poster pointed out, my "narcissism, my love of capital & material, my love of control and recognition,my denial of wrongdoing and my pride in being seen and treated as #1". I have to admit it.... I've felt the greed. I've nurtured the narcissism. I like the comfortable financial state my planner put me in. We have to realize that Trump does represent the darker sides of what we once were...and might even have traces of today. I am, ideally, a progressive. A liberal-minded person who's more like Jesus than most people I know; especially Christians. Below are a lot of deniers, IMO. These folks will never be able to speak "Truth to power". BTW; did you know that the phrase may have originated with a pamphlet "Speak Truth to Power: a Quaker Search for an Alternative to Violence", published in 1955. It's someone who can...and is willing to admit that there's some "Trump" in him....that might be a very valuable force for change when asked to "come on board" by the POTUS. So far many men....and quite a few women...have tried. None have succeeded.
