Math is like a video game, or word game - that benefits your mind. Many of us don't get it...until we're motivated to "get it"....then it clicks, and we get good at it. Look at math as mental calisthenics. Mental training. Mental push-ups. Unfortunately, it takes a very good teacher. I had 3 terrible ones in H.S.; but finally....one great one in college... Can you guess my grades? Yep...3 D's and an A.
