My neighbor I had mentioned who dealt (still is battling) with breast cancer is quite active in the local branch of breast cancer survivors group, and her eldest daughter passed away at age forty from esophageal cancer, that was in 2012. A year before I had talked with my neighbor about that charity calendar, and strongly considered giving it a go, and wanted to do a dedication photo shoot to her for her battle with breast cancer (that just means adding a dedication along with the photo shoot). Then the following year her daughter lost her two-year long battle with cancer. I had then thought about doing a dedication to her daughter, but in 2013 the Sixty Mile Men discontinued their charity calendar for unknown reasons, so I never got the chance. Now, some six years later I can't even find alot on the SMM on the internet for some reason, a shame they decided on such as I heard that calendar was fairly popular. You could do a member search, and if her name pops up (CaroleKay) you could go to her profile to block her. If not, if it says she is not available, in the settings there is a section with all your blocks and there you could manually input her name.

When I was relatively new to this site I had received multiple hate-laced messages from spam accounts and I suspected some of the regular members on here were responsible, Admin could do only so much so I resorted to blocking. Another reason why I block (aside from the spammers) is that I have limited monthly speed data and this app tends to consume quite a bit of data, so I block those who usually post on topics that I have no interest in and thus save on data. The filters for the general feed don't work too well, not for me anyway. I do not however block people due to being offended, and do know that I never had any gripes or complaints with you. It appears (judging by some of the comments on this thread anyway) that alot of people who have been blocked by others assume they got blocked due to the other party getting offended, which isn't always the case. Also, the option to make posts private exists for a reason and I doubt Admin will be scrapping that option anytime soon as it serves a purpose, member drama technically isn't allowed in this group so if someone needed to report another but did not want to go the private message route they could still do a post in this group and just make it private.

@Pbpierson2 Sounds good. Minds is similar in function to this site. There is private messaging, general posting, groups, blogs just to name a few things. Minds is also a site besides an app, so you could access your Minds account from a computer if need be. It's becoming a haven for free speech activists. Glad to help in any way I could.

@TheGreatShadow There are quite a few things in life that people don't need or could justify owning, but they own certain things regardless. In a free society I don't owe anyone justification for owning certain things as it's no one's business what I own, so long as I'm not a threat to anyone or myself. The justification business is political correctness in my opinion, and I don't buy into it. If government workers/military own certain types of guns I should be able to own the same thing, why should they get special privilege due to their careers? If someone has the required funds and space to store such, I think they should be able to own a missile if they want one. Why do we only trust certain people with things like that? Some things perhaps never should have come into existence, but they exist regardless and it's futile to wish otherwise. With that said, I'll give you one good reason to own an AR-15, and only one reason would be necessary. If you find yourself against multiple enemies or home invaders and reloading right away might not be preferential. Remember, in real world shooting scenarios those extra rounds in the magazine could come in handy, as your enemies will not be waiting around for you to shoot them, please keep that in mind.

Growing up and in my teens I was raised in a diehard liberal Democrat household, and once I learned about the other side I turned my back on the political left. There is no middle road when it comes to rights, and I strongly think no other human being has a right to regulate what I do in life and what I own, provided I do not seek to cause harm to others (which I don't). Most of those who I interact with on here are well aware of the fact that when it comes to overall politics I lean Libertarian, as I don't care for either extreme. Politics you could meet in the middle, not exactly so when dealing with rights, at least in my opinion anyway. As for me, I'm for the most part done with the anti gun rights crowd, I grew up with their propaganda and I know they are full of it, so I consider it a waste of time in debating them.
