No, most likely the others were not interviewed because they could not have contributed enough details that would have moved that case forward. As someone who was once fingered for a crime I did not commit, I understand how it feels to be unjustly accused of a heinous crime and I don't blame him for standing up for himself. On the flip side, alot of the Democrats who asked him questions weren't exactly professional in their approach either and helped nothing. Do you know what it feels like to accused of something terrible in which you are innocent? Kind of seems like a cleverly laid trap by the Democrats so they could find something to nitpick about. I did respond to your question, I said obviously there is not enough evidence on that otherwise if there was I'm positive the mainstream medias would be pushing such. Regarding the last part of your comment, only time will tell on that much for sure, and I suspect you are basing your opinion(s) on raw emotion, because that's what those on the left are known to do. By the way, not all of us conservatives have what you referred to as a "cold heart", and I contend when it comes to society as a whole we are nothing more than animals struggling to survive no matter how civilized and intelligent we like to think we are, if and when an emergency breaks out people think mostly about their own families first and give secondary considerations to everyone else, I believe they call that the selfish gene. Sure, there are exceptions to that, but people mostly think about themselves first, because that's instinct, what we are wired to do whether we want to admit that or not. The left accuses the right of being bullies and hurling accusations around, but claiming conservatives have cold hearts hardly does anything to promote understanding, which in my book makes you as bad. Remember what you said to me before about the left having to exagerate claims in order to keep on par with the right, that says alot right there.

I doubt it, it would take considerable effort to overturn that like it would say the 2nd Amendment, and I'm sure many states would rebel if that were to happen. A majority of Americans still believe Roe Vs Wade should be left alone as it is. That is about the only issue that potentially concerned me regarding Kavanaugh, I hope he does what a majority of Americans want, and leave R vs W alone and focus on more important issues.

It's funny how the arguments against Kavanaugh have shifted now, the left realizes the sexual assault accusations were bogus and of no help, so onto other accusations. The FBI didn't interview additional sources (besides the what, 9 or so others they did) because there was no reason to believe they would have been any more help in determining if such a party as Ford described actually took place. For what it's worth, most politicans have got dirt on them somewhere, and Merrick Garland certainly was no good choice as he would not have held up all the Constitutional Amendments.

In all the months I've been host of this group, I've not had to censor anyone's comments, but have had to ban some of those who had trolled/harassed fellow group members. I understand there may be times when a member vehemently disagrees with another member and thus tempted to argue, but sometimes it may be best to ignore posts that rile you up, a big reason why I don't bother much anymore with the public threads, too much of the same political bashing done almost on a daily basis. I know you probably have disagreed with some of the posts in this group and maybe even some of mine, but I thank you for not trolling though. I take it you're a Libertarian/third-party?

Facts don't necessarily swing in favor of either political side. Religion has nothing to do with conservatism, religion is theocracy, and radical religion has long infiltrated the Republican party. I suspect most people who are not right-leaning don't even know what it means to be a true conservative these days. I also contend that most people regardless of political affiliation seek out sources that would reinforce their own world views, saying only the conservatives do that is not only erroneous but just plain wrong. I could think of quite a few things that the liberal left has done and continues to do that have negative consequences for the general public.
Now, you want to talk about fear tactics? Once again, the left does this too. One example off the top of my head is the fear mongering from the left over healthcare, scaring people that if the ACA is done away with people will die, which is grossly untrue as healthcare is readily available regardless of what happens to the ACA. Look at the fear mongering over North Korea, peace is being established thanks to Trump little by little and yet there is nothing but pessimism coming from the left. No one knows for sure what the future holds, but that situation looks promising, and needless fear mongering helps nothing with that much.
Regarding the last part of your comment, perhaps some of those on the right feel no immediate need to jump to conclusions, and I have not witnessed any politician go out of their way to support hate groups. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that one though. Both sides of the political debate hurl insults, and I suspect both Kavanaugh and Ford of lying. Kavanaugh was not being truthful about the underage drinking part it appears, and Ford's testimony is incoherent to say the least. I've been following the story, and alot of folks who side with Ford are doing so based on raw emotions. I'm thoroughly convinced a big portion of society is brainwashed, and that includes both major political parties, but alot of people in this world do not like or care for the truth and play the "I'm insulted card". Sometimes we all need to hear that of which we do not want to hear and dread to hear, but it might be for the best. I don't seek to insult anyone.
