I get it, us hominids over the millions of years have loved to believe in a greater power. The belief that a white bearded father controls everything is an insult to humans. Now back in cave man days at least they believed in a Sun God that could be seen...and if it did not come up the next day you could be dead. 
Grew up in So Cal, live in Seattle now...which fits with my political leanings of liberal, left.
Had a great career in healthcare, retired now. Work part time and then get to go to my real jobs of playing pickleball and golf.
Single and OK with that....I guess. Not.
