Love it. We do a ska song Micheal wrote, and we do a reggae song Michael wrote. Our lead player, Chuck, the guy at the end of our video played in a band called I-Tex. I-Tex was a semi famous Austin reggae band in the 80's and 90's. When they started, they did reggae versions of country songs. They toured with a lot of the big Jamaican bands. Chuck also played some with Asleep At The Wheel. We are lucky to have him.

Other than bands, I am not a group person. I know a lot of people, and I am a social person, but not a person that joins groups or hangs out with a particular group of people. It was the same in high school. I was always on the fringe of different groups, because I always had a friend or an acquaintance or two in different groups, and that is just the way I like it.

Sorry, I'm 0 for 2 in that dept. One was 90 miles, and the other 200 miles. The distance killed each one. Both were in the eighties, and long distance calls could get quite expensive. It might work a little better now that communication is not so expensive.

Medical advances. When I was young, the term exploratory surgery was quite common. Major surgery to open you up to see if whatever problem you have might be something major. Think about that. They can now look at you down to the cellular level. Think about that. When you really get down to it, it is the computer chip and the advances made in that science which has made the internet, medical scanners, and thousands of other things we take for granted possible.
