I think non believers are a threat to many believers because they need validation for a belief that really might not make a lot of sense to them either, but all of that brainwashing since they were children is difficult for most to walk away from. Hence, the more validation, the more comfort they find in their decision to keep the faith.IMO

I read the article. It still gets down to stupid. I grew up when chicken pocks, mumps, and measles were common. Polio was not as common, but I have known four people in Oklahoma including Leon Russell, who had polio. Agree. George Lucas is not known for character development or depth in his story telling. These movies are a small step above Buck Rogers. I enjoyed the first two movies.
