That is not true for everyone. I used to have a steady supply of Xanax, but only used it when suffering from anxiety or I just couldn't sleep. Some folks have addictive personalities and some of us don't. Even though I did a lot of different drugs in the 70s and 80s when I got tired of it or the it wasn't available I was OK with that. A person has to know their limitations.

I am old, but l do care about the way l look, and l haven't given a fuck about what most people think of me since my mid twenties. I have always spoken my mind since then consequences be damned. It certainly hasn't always served me well, but it is who l am. Sometimes depending on what kind of life you've led, you can just be tired which can lead to less engagement. Making a living as a musician is a hard road, but if you are passionate about what you do you hang in there. Some folks get into their 60s and 70s and they are just beat up and tired of engagement. It is about peace and quiet. I still play music, but now more for fun than the money.

If you actually know anything about dogs then you know they need us as much or more than we need them. if you don't know this then you really do not understand what we have bred dogs to be in th last couple of hundred years or more. Go get a Chihuahua, Pug, Dachshund, Pekingese, and the list goes on, drop them in the woods, go back the next day and look for their remains if there are any. These are no longer wild animals and haven't been for a long, long, long, time. The dogs that do survive will form packs and become very dangerous. I guess you could go out and shoot them. That would be so much better than living in a nice house and getting treated like royalty.

@JeffMurray He is in debt to the tune of anywhere from 400 million to a billion dollars. His golf courses are bleeding money as well as other properties. The money he is getting in his Washington Hotel, which is for sale, will not make a dent in those debts. The legal fees he will be facing will be astronomical if he can get decent lawyers to represent him. He won't be moving into a two bedroom apartment, but he is hurting.
