@CaroleKay HAHAHA! I worked with guy named Don when I got out of high school who stuttered. You wanted to finish the words for him so you can keep the conversation moving, but you know you can't. One of the guys would say, "You heard me I didn't stutter", whenever you didn't catch what he said. So, one day Don said something and we didn't catch it , so Don said, You heard me I didn't st..st..st..stutter"! We all just quietly left the room. It was like trying to hold in a sneeze! LOL

@KKGator I am sure it has been covered several times.The idea that there is something wrong with covering tunes comes from listeners not musicians. It is a stupid attitude. Not every good musician or singer writes. If some one likes a song they should sing it. Think of all the great singers who didn't or don't write... Sinatra, Elvis, Ronstadt, Charles, Cocker. I could keep going, but you see where I am coming from. Bands and singers who write and have done covers...Beatles, Stones, Clapton, Willie, Waylon...We spent a career and still play a few times a month doing primarily original songs, but there are cover tunes Michael likes to sing and we do them. You should listen to whatever moves you or touches you in some way. I don't judge people who like certain types of music. I may not understand why (rap), but if you like it you like it. Sorry I got long winded. :)

@CaroleKay Austin was such a great place to be back then. That venue was a great place to play, we did some shows there, and a great place to see shows. It was about a 1200 seat venue, wider than it was deep. Not a bad seat in the house. The only problem was the women's bathroom couldn't handle the traffic, so the overflow came in and used the men's bathroom.
