Luckily I didn't have to go because the guy took a plea bargan. However, this person's JOB requires these types of deals. I did not sign up for jury duty. PS if you really want to get off jury duty, here is how you can do it without lying. If they ask if you know the guy, just ask "is tha so-and-so's brother"? Or something similar. You are not claiming to know them. Police use tactics like this all the time to trick people. If that doesn't work, get a ride to the court house. Make sure you are drunk, and reak of booze! For extra insurance, show up dressed up in full nazi garb. You not only will get kicked out ASAP, but they would not think twice about asking you to do jury duty!
