I know of two wealthy farmers. They make good money, and they dress and shop worse than a broke college kid! That's the traditional way to become wealthy. So they save the money, and if they have a crap year, they can still survive. Also I know several farmers around here that have big fancy houses, and expensive equipment. They aren't rich, they just have loads of debt. People don't realize how big these loans are. My last operating note was for $310K. That covered only the first half of bills, and needed to be paid off in one year.

Every once in a while I have a problem with a kernel update in Ubuntu. I was always the guy that needed to have the newest version of the OS. I have an old version of Ubuntu on my box that is not supported anymore. Not connected to the internet. I just use that for my home server. Some of the pics and videos can't be replaced. It works (transfer files to a flash drive to another computer) and the only time I shut if off is if I'm going to be gone for a while, or a storm is coming. Very solid, so I don't mess with it.

Funny thing is I have been doing business with a feed lot for a number of years. He also farms. He hired two new employees (that I never met). I've heard from 3 different people that they are either Mexican or Guatemalan. One barely speaks english. The other does not at all. The one guy has to interpret for the other. This leads me to believe their status here is questionable at best. Lots of illegals are around here. There is a meat packing plant near here. INS went in a few years ago. People were running off into corn fields and hiding in rafters and stuff. The place was shut down for a couple days.

There was a potential assassination on him shortly after he got into office. It did not get a lot of coverage, and I can not remember where or who it was. This guy went after members in congress. He was killed. It is suspected that his next target was trump.

It is beyond sad. Anyone that is killed in cold blood is a tradegy. This guy WANTED to make people like fellons and mental instability have access to a firearm! Now after the Vegas shooting he banned bump stocks. The only serial killer that I can think of that was Latino was Richard Ramerez. Sure there bad people of all races, religions, and colors.
