I got this one from Best Buy as well. I bought a 3 year extended warranty with my last laptop. It bricked during a BIOS update. I had less than 48 hours on the warranty. I got this one, and got a store credit as well! This one is overheating. I'd like the monitor so I can see when it gets hot to start closing programs, and possibly see which one is causing the computer to overheat.

@zeuser I went to college with a compulsive liar. The worst I ever met. First story he told I was like "wow that's nuts". He would tell 2 or 3 unbelievable stories a week. Every story was like 10 minutes. He had a 3 legged turtle "stumpy" that pulled him out of a frozen river. Him and his buddy fired up a helecoptor turbune and him and his buddy but ropes on it and they swung around on it. Had a barrel racing horse that would play fetch like a dog. Let's face it, they might have been HS kids, and this was their first job. Side note on that... One time in Lincoln my room mates and I stopped at Taco Bell. Got to the windo and the guy said 'Welcome to Taco Bell, would you like to try a ... uhhh... uhhh... uhh... a taco"? From the time I heard that to the time I got to the window, I could not stop laughing! Didn't help my room mates where laughing their asses off as well...

No worries. That literally made my day! I'd almost call up MD and ask how much they cost, but I don't want the butt of a joke to be on the employees. Side note. There was an article going around saying that there was something on MD's secret menue. In-N-Out does have one. For MD, it was called a McGangbang. Consisted of a double cheeseburger, and a McChicken. Cheaper than buying either individually/ Like 99.99% of people I was sure it was a joke. A friend of mine called 4 McDonalds to see what they would say. My girlfriend at the time and I were sitting in the back of the pickup. Two said no off the bat. One asked their manager. The other one got the manager on the phone! She was nice and said they would make a sandwitch any way we wanted it. My girl and I could not stop laughing! I'm pretty sure by laughing so hard at the calls secures my sentence to hell....

I remember going to a restraunt and the waitress asked if I wanted gravy with my fries. I was like WTF? I ordered it anyways. I rarely ever eat fast food, but when I go to DQ, I almost always get the chicken strip basket. I ask for extra white gravy. One cup is for the strips, rest for the fries! That I did pick up in Canada. I remember a Mountie showed my sister and I the inside of her cop car. That was nice of her to do. We used to have pictures, but I am sure they are long lost.

Yeah, they still have wild blood in them. Adorable tho. Plus you really need to know what you are doing to take care of one. They are far different than domestic cats. They like water, and they are usually on a raw meat diet (it's said that domestic cats should be as well). Plus I don't know how well they will get along with domestic cats. Probably not well. There is a breed of domestic cat (can't remember the name) that has "wild markings" like an ocelot. They get fairly big as well. If you think it's hard to keep your cat off the counter, I could not imagine trying to get one of these to stay off! Domestic cats are usually either bush dwellers, or tree dwellers. Bush likes to stay low, tree likes to jump on things, and high vantage places.

Plus that ugly ass shag green carpet I wanted gone since day one...About half my house is hard wood floors. I'm debating on if I should put carpet back in, put on veneer that looks like actual wood to match the rest, or go cheap and get linolioum. Then again the cheap option wouldn't look good in the dining room, or in a bedroom. Plus when I ripped the carpet out of two rooms where there was hard wood under, I noticed it got much colder in the winter.

I had a science teacher that would constantly tell the class to "finger the teacher". Thumbs up meant yes to the question, thumbs down meant now. A few years after I graduated the school board made him stop doing it. I on the other hand got a detention (I think even suspended) because of one phrase they took the wrong way. Had to write a poem for earth day. It had to be about a tree or an animal or whatever. I wrote mine about a chicken. The last sentence was then the chicken choked. Hell it was the only thing I could think of that rhymed with whatever other sentence that was previous. With the detention paper you had to write your account or whatever about the incident. I should have said "There was no incident. You have a dirty mind". It was a joint decision between the teacher and the principal. I had another teacher that was talking about sod houses. She was trying to say "3 foot thick" (describing the blocks). She said "3 foot dicks". LMAO

The first time a guy from Canada wanted to buy some SHO parts. He said he'd give me money via payPal, and to use his FedEx account....

Never used it because I found out it was a food stamp. An actual piece of paper. $29/mo!? You are getting fucked! A friend was on SNAP. He had one kid, worked full time, his GF didn't have a job. IIRC he was getting $800/mo. Yes, that much. He'd buy lobster and steaks on it. Stuff he would not buy out of his own pocket. Can I ask if you got SNAP recently, or has it been that low for years? When I went OTR, and had my trucking company, I could deduct $59/DAY for food. If I didn't use it, I could take it as a per deim for taxes. I just kept the receipts. Might spend 10-15/day. Thought it was dishonest to take the 59.

I was thinking very similar along those lines. My thoughts were "get off your lazy ass and cook for them". When I invite my friends over, I ask what they want, and cook for them! If it's a burger or a steak, I ask how they want theirs done. I'm sorry but I was raised better, and I know how to be a good host.
