I can make a poll, but it would probably have to be outside of this group to get a better idea. Most of the people on here are "standard nerds". I'd like a more broad poll. I did read an article several years ago that said that Ubuntu was far more popular (and even dominant) in a lot of third world countries. Mostly in Africa.

@rogerbenham I know we are making jokes, but there is a good reason why Linux doesn't get viruses. Biggest is unlike MS, they don't let back doors open. There are millions of viruses on windows. There are about 40 for Linux. Lots you have to manually install, and very very few that don't have been fixed with updates. There are literally more versions of Linux than viruses. I have NEVER had a virus on Linux. I've been using it since 2001. Android may be another story...

I'll read the article later. I know there are some countries (mostly 3rd world) that have little/no age of consent. One of the more modern countries that are lax I believe is Spain, and IIRC it is 13. For me personally, I think girls in their early/mid 20's look young. I have a funny story. A friend of mine was sentenced to 6 years in prison for having sex with a minor. He was about 23 at the time, and she was 15. She had admitted in court that she lied about her age. His brothers and some friends made statements saying she claimed she was older. She didn't press charges, nor did the parents. However, Nebraska is a no fault state. The state still went after him. When he was in a holding cell, I guess one of the guards heard what he was in for. They put him in a cell with a killer. There was a shooting at a bank in Norfolk, and this was one of the killers. He tried to kill him. His dad went to see him in the ER and he said he looked like complete shit. The way he described him lying there was bad. He could have done a little more research oh her, but he ended up spending 3 years of his life in prison. That's 3 years of his life he missed with his two kids.

Here's the deal for me tho... I was raised on a farm in Nebraska. We had some sort of beef every day. My mother would cook burgers and steaks well done. I still cook beef like that to this day. Don't do that with bison. Best thing is to cook it slow. I have some bison steaks (couple pounds each), and I am not sure how to cook them. Maybe just try a little piece, and see where it goes? What's even trickier is cooking venison. That's another story...

Well, I guess that might be cheap for Omaha price. Especially since bison is not cheap. Yes bison is not cheap. I think the last time I bought some at the grocery store it was $13.99 for a pound. That was at Hy-Vee. I won't shop there, and if anyone is interested why, I'll tell you. I went to Costco later. I think it was $17.99 for 2.5 lbs! Costco wins.

Never heard of it either. Hippychick said she drives by it all the time. The trick to bison is you can not cook it like beef. Ya can't. It cooks at a faster rate, and it will burn. Fast. My brother-in-law shot a bison, and he gave me lots of bison. If you go to Fuddruckers, they usually have a good bison burger.
