I'd say no. I think the meme is just pointing out a specific few. I live in a mostly Czech community. Lots of the older folks still speak it, and ear a lot of traditional Czech foods. We have Czech Days here every year. The City puts up Czech flags all down main street. I don't know how many generations we have been in this country. The farthest back I could track my Heritage was with my dads grandparents. Only reason I know this is because I have my great grandfathers life insurance policy. He was born in a village 6 miles away in 1871. She was born in the same village in 1884 (BTW I have met her, she was almost 104 when she died). When my dad was young he didn't know any English. For migrants to come over here and learn it, English is one of the hardest languages to learn. I don't know why they only taught him Czech. That is beyond me.

Doesn't sound like you were rude. If the guy was some sort of greeter, it's their job to see what goes in and out of the store. I've done security before, and you look for something out-of-line. But returning pots? We had to check every bag that went in and out. Some tried to sneak by. Other times drivers would try to lie about a BOL. By asking you that question seem a little weird. Maybe this old guy was a widower with no kids and just wanted to talk to someone?

Recycling, etc. I tend to hold on to things for too long thinking I might need them some day. When I throw something out it seems like the next day I need it! My keyboard went south the other day. I had 4 more. Every one of them didn't work! So I had to break down and buy a new one. :( Don't get me wrong, I'm not anywhere as close to anyone on the show Hoarders! My mom is kind of like that, my dad as well. But their parents went through the great depression, so I understand, and it probably trickled down to me. XP was probably the best OS they ever had. They were supposed to support it 'till 2020. Haven't for years. Winblows has had the start button since win 3.1! Why did they change it with 8? They just want to sell you new shit. Same goes with crapple. They are notorious for having updates to make the iPhone slower. I have deleted iTunes from the first (and only) Apple product I will ever buy. When it want's to update, it's not a security update. They re-install that shit! /rant

So sad. My kitten was in terrible condition when I became her guardian. The vet never called me after two surgeries (until after the fact). I asked if she was in any pain. He said "I don't think so". I would have paid the $20 for a pain shot! On a side note, my two cats stay at my dads on the porch. There are 4 ways out of the house. I don't care which way I come out. One always finds me! The other day I was fixing a tractor. She followed me all over the farm! Feel sorry for her. They both had plenty of food and water. She just wanted some attention. :(
