Hard to say in answering either of your ?s. Trump is clearly dragging his feet on coping with the crisis, but it's hard to say whether he is doing that to screw the lower classes or more because he wants to prop up the stock market and help his election chances. Could be a combination of all of those. How much the lower classes will lose of their wealth all depends on how many months the economy is shut down with businesses being closed. Right now it's hard to know how long that will be.

Between now and then Biden will hide out as much as possible and at the convention I wouldn't be surprised if Joe drops out and the DNC appoints Cuomo to be the nominee instead, since the corporate media are now really building Cuomo up these days and there is a movement within the party to draft him. If that happens, I will vote third party as it will finally be clear to all who are honest that Bernie was cheated this time again. Cuomo has been a good leader for his state during this crisis, but it is also clear that he is as much or more of friend of the billionaires as Joe or any other corporate Dem. He has also refused several billion dollars from the feds for his state during this crisis because he insists on cutting his state's Medicare budget during this crisis. WTF is that about?

Your story shows why, five years ago when I needed to find a place to live, I chose to live around people who were more the age of my parents than in a neighborhood where I might be living around people the age of my children, assuming I had chosen to have kids (which I didn't). I had already been there, done that when I lived in a college town decades ago with my late wife. I got tired of living around spoiled, selfish children with their noise, late night parties, overuse of parking, and littering the neighborhood with trash. Old people are way less of a nuisance... As to your story, I was disappointed that it didn't end with you pulling a Clint Eastwood and telling them to get off your lawn, lol..Which proves that, unlike me, you aren't a complete geezer yet..

It is beyond pathetic. He clearly has at least 50 IQ points on all of them. The most amusing part is how clueless they all are about their idiocy. I don't think his sample is that skewed, but I do know there are Trump supporters that are smarter and more informed, but they are not going to agree to talk with him on camera. They are generally financially well off people who support Trump because they don't like paying taxes and are selfish.

My state to the north has around 450 cases. I think our figures are a little high even tho we have only a handful of deaths so far. You have two cities that are much larger than any in our state. Our state has had bars and restaurants closed since the middle of the month except for carry out, delivery and drive up while most people have pretty much stayed home. Our governor is a Repub too.

I'm bored as hell with staying home all the time, but doing fine medically. I bet we will be told by Reynolds to continue staying at home until at least May. The bars and restaurants will probably stay closed until at least then too. What do the rest of you think? The schools will also stay closed for the rest of the semester too, I bet.
