I think that the DNC's selection of Biden is now looking like a deliberate move by them to tank or throw the election to Trump. Unless they replace Biden at the convention with someone who is not impaired, then we will know for sure that the DNC is throwing the election. As I have said ad nauseum, the DNC is fine with Trump, they just don't want Bernie as prez or the nominee. Jill Biden is so obviously having to be there to hold Biden's hand and prop him up. I still think that the DNC will replace Biden at the convention with another candidate that is not Bernie, probably Warren, but we will see in a few months. If they don't, then you will know the fix is in to keep Trump as prez.
One person is happy with the current president.

You think the DNC and Biden is the difference between fucked and not-fucked?
TomMcGiverin replies on Apr 9, 2020:
Trump and anyone that the DNC eventually picks to replace him as the nominee amount to Tweedledee and Tweedledum....Neither one is going to help anyone but the rich and big business recover their losses from this crisis. Neither Trump nor the corporate Dems care about the deaths of peasants from this virus. We are just an expendable population that they exploit for profit and labor while we have money to spend and enough health to work. After we no longer have either of those, we are just an entitlement program expense that they do not want to help pay for, so having us die early once we are retired is a bonus for them.

TomMcGiverin replies on Apr 9, 2020:
I don't think it's conspiracy theory. Biden is not going to last thru the election. His mind is so far gone he couldn't have handled another debate with Bernie. He will be replaced before the general election by the DNC, now that Bernie is out of the race, which is what the DNC's real goal was. If Biden is not replaced, then everybody will finally see that the DNC's real goal was to stop Bernie, not to win in Nov..I believe that is the truth about the DNC and if they don't replace him with a better candidate who is not dementia-impaired, then we will know they never intended to win against Trump. I expect the nominee will eventually be another corporate hack, as you say. Right now it's hard to say who the DNC will pick. Could be Cuomo, Warren, or possibly one of the other primary candidates who already dropped out. Regardless of who is selected, I think Trump will win, so we agree on that at least. His mishandling of the crisis and the collapse of the economy don't seem to be hurting him in polls, so he seems to be getting the same kind of boost in a crisis, popularity-wise, that W got with 911.

@RoboGraham Seems like for most Biden supporters the only reasons they support him is that he is better than Trump, or so they think, and out of nostalgia for Obama. The latter reason is why older blacks voted for him in the primaries on Super Tuesday instead of Bernie, which is why Bernie had his so-called "problems" with black voters that the corporate media kept dogging Bernie about. There was simply nothing Bernie could do to overcome this with older blacks that were stupid enough to vote Biden just out of Obama nostalgia and the endorsements of corrupt black leaders that supported Biden. I hope those older black voters are happy with the next four years as Trump shits on them while Bernie, unlike Biden, would have actually tried to help them economically and on civil rights as well. Fools...People who vote out of simple tribalism like that deserve to be screwed, I suppose...Further proof of what bullshit identity politics is and how effectively it gets people to vote against their own class interests...

@Paul4747 There's nothing friendly about the party to me or other progressives and Obamacare was a Heritage Foundation Repub plan that Obama chose while he still had a supermajority in both parts of congress before the public debate over health care even began. He had already sold us out to the drug companies and the health insurance industry. He had already decided there would not even be a public option in the bill. When he lost his supermajority he was secretly happy with it because he could then get the bill he wanted, as Russ Feingold later admitted, and Obama could then blame the Repubs for his own evil sellout. Don't try to gaslight or lie to me, Paul. I am way more informed than most of the sheeple.. It's your party, not mine. It is beyond reform and needs to be blown up and replaced with a party that actually represents the 99%, like Bernie's movement did. "Progressives wanting it all Now, now, now"? We have been waiting since 1972, when McGovern was the last time the Dems nominated a progressive for prez (and then the party sandbagged him during the general). How many more decades are we supposed to wait until OUR turn? Apparently we are supposed to wait way longer than Hillary was supposed to wait. Nothing has changed since '72, the party unites to stop any progressive candidate. So, time's up on waiting for the party to change or reform.

@Paul4747 Until the Dems start acting and adopting policies that show they actually WANT my vote, instead of acting with Rahm Emanuel- style contempt for me and my kind, they don't deserve my vote, because they make no effort whatsoever to EARN it. They can fuck off.......And, BTW, I am ready to bet right now that the Dems will lose in Nov. with whoever they choose to replace Biden, and trust me, he will be replaced.... It's laughable that you think that corporate Dems like Biden and Obama can be pushed to the left once they are prez. People like me and Bernie tried that when Obama was in office and he totally ignored us. Instead, Obama lied and pretended like he might be progressive if elected, then totally betrayed that after he was in power. Not going to keep getting played like that. Once a corporate Dem, always a corporate Dem, even after becoming prez. Obama got away with the con because he had only a short time in congress before his prez run, so he could let voters project their hopes on him for what he would do as prez. He was the perfect Manchurian candidate, no record to betray what he really was.

@Paul4747 You're entitled to your opinion, but you need to understand that the blame for the Dems continuing to lose presidential elections belongs to the centrists and party leaders for continuing to shit on the progressives time after time. Until then, the Dems will usually lose prez elections and the Repubs will continue to come up with more monstrous nominees each time, which is how we ended up with Trump. I will not take the blame that rightly belongs with those in the Dem party that continue to ignore the working class and the poor while shitting on the progressives who try to fight for those two groups, while meanwhile the party cozies up to the rich, corporations, Wall Street, and the comfortable top 10%, the suburban voters whose economic interests are no different than the 1%. Those unholy alliances are what have killed the party and doomed them to lose presidential elections since 2000, with the exception of Obama, who won only because he was black and a skilled liar and con man who leveraged his race into making liberals and independents as well as poor people think he was going to actually change the status quo and make things more fair for the 99%. He then proceeded to crush the Occupy movement, which showed his true colors.
